One twin Moving less

Hello ladies
I am pregnant with mono di twins I am 31 weeks and I always feel the twin on right moving but not the baby on the left. My doctor never seemed to think much of it, but even during ultrasounds baby on right moves a lot while baby on left stays more still with some movement. Both are doing good in terms of growth and heart rates etc. but it worries me why twin b is not as active. Have you experienced this ?

Re: One twin Moving less

  • My baby B was much more active than baby A. After they came out that continues to be true. :) My baby boy (b) is a mover and a shaker, he hardly ever want to be still, while my baby girl is chill and loves to just watch people.

If your doctor isn't worried then try not to worry!

  • They are different people, not all babies are equally active, in utero or out. If they are looking good on u/s and doc is not concerned, try to relax. My baby b is not as active and even when he is I don't feel it as much because of positioning.

  • yep  I feel twin A more strongly than twin B... my MFM said its because of the position of the babies and  one might just be more active than the other....

Same for us. I always said our boy was gonna be hyper and girl would be mellow. Totally true so far!

  • Thank u soooo much!! It's just the last time I has ultrasound the tech kinda pushed on the ultrasound a few times to get baby b moving which she was as to get her moving slightly. It kinda freaked me out, and the tech was the none chatty type so I couldn't really get anything out of her. I am going for another one soon and will see!!
