1. Finally had to turn the heat on. Although the weather is calling for close to 60s the next couple days so maybe I will turn it back off.
2. Got a call from the OB and appearantly one of the refills on my 17P is missing so I only have one shot left there. I went through my bank statements and I know I paid for 3 refills so hopefully this all gets figured out quickly.
3. Got a lot more of the painting done in the nursery yesterday. Still need to do touch ups but it is slowly coming together.
4. Watched my brothers puppy again yesterday and while I was painting she peed all over my dogs bed.
5. I am not ready for cold weather at all!
6. I am closing at work today. Closing shifts always drag.
7. Paying some bills today and I have so many more to pay on Wednesday. No fun.
8. I found a tick on one of the dogs last night. R can't/won't pull them off so I got the pleasure of doing that.
9. I could go for a 1/2 café coffee on the way to work today.
10. We still need to figure out what we are going to do for daycare. I know it is expensive in MA but still need to call around and get prices and visit local places as well as find out what sort of waiting lists local places have.

1. I officially hate day light savings time. I am blaming this barbaric tradition on why my kids woke at least 15 times between 11:50pm and 4:30am. Finally EV brought Kaden into our bed and he proceeded to give me kisses and also kick me with this little cold feet as he wriggled around. I managed to snooze through a lot of it though. A testament to how exhausted I was.
2. PB&J for breakfast
3. My calendar is full, I have things planned for every day this week except Thursday & Saturday, and often 2-3 things in a day. I am not complaining because I love living close to friends and family. But I am worried about getting stuff, personal business, scheduling doctor/dentist appointments, work...
4. I'm making cupcakes for EV's co-workers birthday on Thursday. They're supposed to be black and gold for her alma mater's colors.
5. There's a left over playhouse from the Halloween event. It was turned into a Hansel & Gretel Candy cottage (painted with bright colors, etc) for the fairy tale theme. EV's going to bring it home after work today. Yay Free Rainbow playhouse!
6. EV and I have been making a real effort to focus on us too within the chaos of raising our kids. It's really nice to have a little glimpse into all those years when it was just us enjoying each other's company. And hopefully a look toward the distant future when it's just us again.
7. When I picture my little guys as grown people, likely tall, maybe with facial hair, stomping through the house. Seems so odd.
8. I signed up for Google delivery last night after EV encouraged me to. She's need shampoo for a few days, and I just haven't had time to get to the store. ;-) Supposedly I can order stuff and have it delivered next day. We'll see. Anything to minimize trips to the store would be greatly appreciated. I've used Amazon in the past, but we'll see how this compares. In some places in Bay Area you can get same day deliveries. Sigh - that'd be awesome.
9. I managed to tidy the garage yesterday but I still have a lot of boxes to unpack and organize. I've also been going through my many bins of smaller clothes trying to find anything that just might fit. I did find one pair of jeans that I can squeeze into. Seeing all of my clothes has revitalized my incentive though. It'd be nice to not have to re-buy a whole wardrobe in my current size. I was planning on joining WW, but we honestly can't afford another $40+ a month... So I'm watching what I eat, and I think I'm slowly losing weight. Maybe I'll pull out a P90x video and Kaden can watch me hop around. :-)
10. Kaden is telling me to "get Owen" Though he's sleeping.
1. Today Will is 5 months old! I can't even handle it.
2. I promised my wife that I will leave work early today. I have actually blocked off my calendar to try and make this happen.
3. I finally weighed myself last Friday after a little over a month of avoiding the scale. I lost 6 lbs in about a month. Not great. I don't know if I have the energy to really kick it into high gear to start losing faster, though. I have lost 46 lbs since the day I delivered. 3 more lbs until I am at pre-pregnancy weight. Then another 30ish lbs to be where I would want to be before we TTC again. It's definitely doable by late spring, when I would like to get back to the RE to start talking about a Summer FET... but, remember how I wanted to be back at my goal weight by Christmas?!?! Friends, that is officially NOT happening.
4. When I write #3 down, it just reminds me how much I gained while TTC and then while pregnant... it's hard to be mad at myself about it, even though I want to be. I am more than 1/2 way there to getting back to where I want to be, so getting mad at myself now is just counter productive. But my self esteem takes a hit when I look at the scale...
5. My wife and I had a discussion over the weekend about what we would do in terms of TTC#2 if we can't afford to move by next summer. It is a real possibility that we won't be able to afford what we want in 6-9 months, and I worry what that means for adding to our family... I think we have decided we will start TTC again by the end of next summer regardless of where we are living. Which is totally insane. There is no reason why we should try to fit another human into our current house, other than the fact that we are crazy. BUT, we can look back 5-10 yrs from now and remember how hard it was with all of us crammed into a tiny house and say "boy am I glad we finally moved!"... but we can never change it and make our kids closer in age if we decide to wait. I dunno... I'm nuts.
6. I am on the hunt for Size 9 month footie PJs that are cotton (not fleece, not terry cloth... cotton!) and don't have a bunch of crazy characters on them that I am not a fan of. This is much harder than I thought. Meanwhile, Will probably has maybe 2 more weeks before he is officially busting out of 6 month footies... hmmmm....
7. I have a lot of work to do, but no focus. I would rather look at footie PJs online... who the heck am I?!?! I have changed a lot in the last 3ish years. It's a little scary.
8. I really haven't been following the lead up to the mid-term elections that closely. Which is strange for me. My tolerance for partisan BS is at an all-time low.
9. I think I might be cranky today. I didn't think I was cranky until I started writing this 10, and now that I am reading what I am writing, I think I need an attitude adjustment!
10. Coffee. That is sure to help....

1. Posting two days in a row, go me! Lol 2. I'm trying to decide if I should lay down with Adalyn and take a nap, M and K are down for their nap. 3. I'm sitting here eating the girls Halloween candy, hehe. They won't ever know. 4. I have the worst sweet tooth since giving birth. I literally have to eat chocolate or cookies every day! Because of this I've gained just over 5 lbs since giving birth. I swear I'm so backwards. 5. Adalyn slept 5 straight hours last night!! Why don't I feel any more rested? 6. I'm having some major issues with my mom since Adalyn was born. I'm thinking of starting a separate thread to ask for advice. 7. I hate having to feel like I need to defend my parenting style. Yes we Co sleep, baby wear and breastfeed on demand....it's no one else business. 8. My sister wants me to watch my nephew from 5 am to 10 am so she can work part time. I don't think I can commit to getting up that early and taking care of 4 kids under age 3. 9. My wife just got an email saying mandatory overtime starts this week. Right now is only 5 hours but will be going up to 10 a week. We need the extra money, but I also need her help with the kiddos. I'm not sure how is going to work without me going crazy. 10. I'm going to lay down, even if I don't sleep. Have a good day everyone!!

@Amber&Reva - I don't know if you've heard this, but if you smother the tick with Vaseline or Dawn dish soap (probably any kind would do), it will back out on its own and is easier to pull out. We just did that last week with out big dog and it worked. It took about 10-15 minutes, but it pulled out easily.
@TwoMomsinTX - A good strong line is still a good thing! I am hopeful for you.
@CrazyAunt84 - Thanks for the laugh . That is why I discourage C from passing gas in public...you just never know what's gonna happen!

We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm. 8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy. We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET. I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013.
11/14/14 - Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good.
12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2
12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)
1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2
****All Welcome!****
We are Mommas to four fur babies - 3 dogs and 1 cat.
1. I need to go to the bank and deposit money but instead am sitting in my car and Bumping.
2. Things at work this morning were intense. It has been stressful recently. I keep thinking that if I can keep my sh*t together (at work) with all the hormones I've pumped into myself and the roller coaster of the past 16 months then everyone else should be able to keep their sh*t together as well. Not the case apparently.
3. I need to make my list of questions for tomorrow.
4. I found out that I will be getting reimbursed for the Ganirelix that I paid OOP for back during my fresh cycle. Yippie for that!
5. I feel like I'm starting to heal from the roller coaster that has been our TTC journey. Maybe that will be helpful in moving forward.
6. On 11/19 it will be one year since my laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. I remember feeling like we really had a chance after those surgeries. I didn't expect that we'd still be in the game a year later. I high fived C while I was still in recovery because we were really gonna make a baby after that....
7. I'm not sure that I'm going to make it through my appointment tomorrow without crying.
8. I'm so thankful for you all here.
9. When I had to answer questions on line for the new (possibly) RE's office, it was like putting the whole past 16 months in a little condensed version. It was overwhelming to think of it all like that.
10. I have a feeling that AF isn't going to come on its own this cycle. I'm already a day late and have no signs whatsoever that this will be changing.

We are Mommas to four fur babies - 3 dogs and 1 cat.
1. I took a week off work, and napped every day. I am back to work today and feel like it may possibly be the longest day of my life.
2. My desk chair is hurting my back and pelvis. I tried a yoga ball chair and that didn't help. I am headed to the chiro today for the first time ever... super nervous.
3. Our Doula came over last night and did a fear release hypnosis with us. It was very freeing, but also very telling. I think I am going to need therapy after this process just to deal with some issues that have come up that I have done a FANTASTIC job of suppressing up until this point.
4. Our house is coming together! I finished all three bathrooms on my week off and now they are all cute and put together. Who cares about the 5 tons of boxes in the garages... cute bathrooms is what I need to function (I am such a gay man sometimes...)
5. We had so much fun handing out Trick or Treat candy! We have never lived in a neighborhood where people went trick or treating! It was super cute and fun.
6. I found out today that I will be able to be off work for almost 2 whole months! And then I am going to take half days for a while. I am already worried about going back to work after our little Squinter gets here. One worry at a time....
7. We had a shower this weekend. I didn't go... which was the plan all along! I didn't want people touching me and cooing over my belly.... yuck! A's parents are very respectful, so while they were doing shower stuff, me and the guys went to watch mucho football and eat wings. It was perfect.
8. Did I mention I need an afternoon nap?
9. It feels nice to be completely moved out of our old house.
10. We finished up our shopping for Squints on Sunday... I am so ready to get my nursery decorating on...!!!

1. I have to hand express today because somehow I don't have tubes and I don't have a car to go home and get them. I really don't like pumping.
2. I'm trying to research all the judges on the ballot. I never do, but it's been an interesting legal year here and I want to put a little more thought into it.
3. We decided to hire house cleaners, starting with once a month. Any tips or suggestions?
4. On the most boring conference call ever, I hate conference calls
5. J had a long talk with her dad over the weekend. He hasn't seen Thijs yet and won't even look at pictures of him. The talk went well but I still feel like I don't want to be or bring Thijs around him.
6. @trisholio, I am so with you on # 6 & 7. And tell your sister no way. I felt bad asking my sister to watch M and she has one 18 month old and couldn't handle both of them. 4 under 3 is ridiculous, does she have anyone else that can help out? There are a lot of resources and free childcare for single mom's. My sister used it when she had her first daughter and was trying to get back on her feet.
7. We are finally starting to work on our dining room table. I can't wait
8. J and I are considering spending Thanksgiving at one of the resorts instead of cooking and doing the family thing. I feel bad about it, but I'm sick of the family drama.
9. I'm supposed to be finding a therapist for my mom and I to go to. I would rather spend time with my baby than go to therapy because my mom needs to go. Portland is sounding better everyday
10. I need to clean my office, it's a disaster after the crazy reporting month of October and getting the new ED up to speed. I need an assistant.
2. I introduced myself and my partner a couple weeks ago but I keep forgetting to check back in.
3. Going to work on #2
4. We had two cool days over the weekend which made me hopeful fall weather was coming but it's supposed to be back up in the low 80s for the rest of the week.
5. I miss fall in New England. I visited my family for a couple weeks at the beginning of October and I was obsessed with all the leaves, streams, nature.
6. We haven't even really started the process, we've just begun having initial appointments with an RE to find out our starting point and it already feels stressful.
7. I'm a worrier. So grateful for my partner, she's the voice of reason and reassures me all the time.
8. Ten things is a lot more than I thought it would be.
1. B had a fever this morning so I am home with him today. He had vaccinations yesterday so it might be from those, but how can you tell? HFM is going around at his daycare and the director told me it starts with a fever. But of course after a dose of Tylenol and a nap, he's happy and chatty and playful -- doesn't seem too sick to me. So I'm chalking it up to shots and enjoying an extra day off with him. He is on his playmat right now squealing at his toys.
2. 13.5 lbs and 24 inches at 4m well visit. Still 2nd percentile for weight and 10th for length -- solidly in the peanut club with @redrockmama's M! Really thought he'd be higher by now but pedi isn't concerned so neither are we.
3. He hasn't been finishing the last ounce or two of his (4 oz) bottles lately and the pediatrician said he should probably be eating more. She suggested moving up to the Level 2 nipples, because he might be getting tired/bored before he gets full. He seems to love them and chugs his bottle so quickly now! Sometimes I just want to smack myself on the head for not thinking of things like that.
4. I gained a pound this week. I am sucking at WW this time around. I had a big conversation with my therapist this week about how I just
need to make better decisions more of the time -- I know what I should
and shouldn't eat, and how much, and I am tracking and measuring and
sticking to portions, but the number of times a week I "splurge" on
something is just too high.
5. Speaking of which, @KH826, 46 lbs is great!! I know you've been at it longer than I have but I think I have lost, like, 4.
7. Buttered toast has to be one of the greatest simple food pleasures in life.
8. I started reading books again. I don't know what took me so long -- I have a bus commute that does facilitate reading! I read The Middlesteins in a couple of days and now I'm reading Hungry Monkey by Matthew Amster-Burton, a cute book about eating with his young daughter.
9. I've transferred B from mat to musical jumpy seat and am almost done with my soup and my ten things!
10. Cue fussing. Time to down the soup.
Married my wife 8/2007 ~ TTC #1 since 7/2011 9 IUIs = 9 BFNs IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31! EDD 7/13/14 ~ Induced at 37w4d due to pre-eclampsia ~ Born on 6/28/14 *Everyone welcome*
1. I think I may be about to get my first postpartum period because I'm breaking out a little bit and I am nursing/pumping less. But who knows? I've felt this way before and nothing has happened.
2. @redrockmama & @ball.and.chain - peanuts unite! Ash started off off the charts, but slowly lived his way to 2nd, then 10th, and has seemed to stable out at around the 20th. We have a few 5-6 months on this board that weigh almost as much as my 1-year-old!
3. I made the most delicious soup! Quinoa, sweet potato, red bell pepper, onion, cilantro with chipotle. Third day in a row and I'm still excited to eat it for lunch!
4. Although I'm not fond of cooler weather, I am fond of soup/stew weather. Makes cooking so easy.
5. I've been up since 4:30. Ash slept from 7pm-4:30am and by the time I nursed him and put him back in his crib at 5, it wasn't worth it to go back to sleep for 30 minutes. Tired.
6. I woke up feeling really disappointed about election results, even though i wasn't the least bit surprised. Austin is the only place in Texas that I will ever live, but sometimes the statewide politics make me want to leave the state. Sigh.
7. I decided I can't wait for Ash's birthday to get his first pair of real shoes, so we're going this weekend. I have my eye on these:
8. I love my wife. She put the last bite of a brownie we bought at our favorite bakery over the weekend in my lunchbox. She's a gem.
9. Z started a new job today. It pays even better than her last company and I feel thankful that she isn't in a toxic environment of her previous workplace. Everything eventually works out...
10. Totally jealous that @2MamazInSeattle is on a plane to Boston and I'm not! (

@TwoMomsinTX - A good strong line is still a good thing! I am hopeful for you.
@CrazyAunt84 - Thanks for the laugh

2. SO grateful my wife passed her big exam for a work certification today
3. I can't believe how big this baby is,we bought age appropriate clothing ahead of time for the fall/winter (size 6-9months) yeaaaa she's in 18-24m
4. I really need to figure out an overnight cloth diaper solution for my heavy wetter
5. We hope to start TTC again sometime around April-July..it's crazy to think I may be pregnant again by this time next year!
6. I have been trying to organize this house a bit before the holidays hit...what an ongoing job!
7. Both my Wife and Lennon are snoring currently, I should join them.
8. I can't think of any Xmas gift ideas this yr.I'm kinda sick of "stuff"
9. I need to practice my back carries w Lennon tomorrow, she loves to be on my back and seeing everything I do!
10. Bedtime ;-)
9. Hmm....let's see
10. Happy almost hump day.
I had a big conversation with my therapist this week about how I just need to make better decisions more of the time -- I know what I should and shouldn't eat, and how much, and I am tracking and measuring and sticking to portions, but the number of times a week I "splurge" on something is just too high.
5. Speaking of which, @KH826, 46 lbs is great!! I know you've been at it longer than I have but I think I have lost, like, 4.
6. @2MamazinSeattle is on a plane to Boston! Be jealous.

*Everyone welcome*
