Second appt/ultrasound! (9wk pic! :)

Just got back to work after having my first OB appt and second ultrasound. From only two weeks ago, the baby's doubled in size! And it was moving! Like, jumping all around - such an odd feeling, knowing this is happening inside of you!  All of this is new for me, so I don't know what to expect every time I walk in the doctor's office but I am on cloud 9 right now! I've been kinda stressed with the Factor V Leiden diagnosis and all the added appts because of it and today, she told me there's another gene mutation they found during last appt's blood work, but this put me at ease and I couldn't wait to share with you ladies! Perhaps, when I show DH this, he'll stop calling it an alien! ;)

    Excited for you!! I am 9 weeks and still eager for my first OB Appt in 12 days (who's counting though, right?) Seeing your baby move must have helped everything feel as real as it is!!!

    That's great! Congratulations on being able to see this! I had blood work done this week to find out if I have Factor 5 Leiden as well. My mom and sister both have it so I'm preparing myself for that same news. I'll find out for sure at my ultrasound in a couple of weeks.

    @kayladawn91 good luck! I have my first hematologist appointment next week, to see what steps I have to take to keep the FVL at bay.

    @kmleon83 my sister has it as well and had to inject herself with blood thinners twice a day throughout her entire pregnancy. It's pretty scary stuff though!

    Congratulations! We have the same due date, my first US and HB check is tomorrow. I am so excited, it's like Christmas in Nov lol.
