i went and walked my dog no running just walking and my stomach was tighting most of the time it felt like a crap but it wasn't painful just uncomfortable??? Should I be worried??? I'm laying on my left side and baby is moving just fine.
That's what my Braxton hicks feel like, as identified by my midwife. She said t is a sign that you should slow down a bit and also often a normal part of how women's bodies practise for labour.
I'm not sure if any of that is true, but, that's been my experience.
I hope you feel better! If you can't stop worrying maybe a phone call to your healthcare provider would help?
I'm sitting and its gone now. I walk a lot at work so I figured walking the dog wouldn't be bad. I work at a hospital so if it gets worse I'll walk over to OB and talk to them.
This happens to me more often than I would like. I think it's Braxton hicks but I'm not an expert. I had them for a week last pregnancy. Just relax and hydrate and it'll slowly go away. Remember to bring it up wroth your doctor at your next appointment though.
Sounds like Braxton hicks to me. I get this all. day. long. Almost like heartburn in my stomach muscles. Just slow down a little, smaller steps and if you are carrying anything shift the position of said item.
Or you can be like me, not follow advice, and give everyone around you a scare when you're bent over panting, holding your stomach because of the stitch you just gave yourself.
Sounds like braxton hicks. Mine started earlier this time than with my first but I had them for months before being induced. Doctor always told me to drink water and lay down (if possible). I had some today at work and just had to sit down and take a break.
I sit all day at work and am not excersizing really (bad bad flyster) so when I"m up and around on the weekend he often feels like he is really low and putting pressure on me. I think its just the muscles moving around to a different position and probably a signal I should be up and around more during the week. I keep meaning to go for walks at work There have been a few times over the past week when I was really pushing myself because of our move, and started feeling pretty bad, so I took about 30 minutes of lying down. I felt bad because my MIL was there working the whole time, but figure in the long run it was better then trying to do too much.
Braxton hicks baby. Welcome to late pregnancy! To me they feel like someone is squeezing me with a large rubber band. Real contractions feel very different so now you will be well prepared for when the real ones come since they don't feel like this!
Braxton Hicks, just like everyone else already said. I get them when I've overexerted... I usually just make sure to take a bit of a break (sitting or laying) and drink some water. I had the with DD too and they never did anything other than just make me feel uncomfortable.
I've had these literally since about 12 weeks. Just a random ass hardening of my stomach (to the point of rock hard!). I originally was worried about them but since they went away and didn't come in any cycles I quickly stopped thinking about them. But I know what you mean about the uncomfortable-ness of them!
Like PP's have said, keep an eye on them and consult your doctor if you're really nervous!

This has been happening to me too when I get on the treadmill. I was going to ask my doc about it tomorrow! I figured it was Braxton hicks since it goes away when I get off the treadmill.
