Diaper pail liners

So after a lot of lurking I have learned that an open trash can with a reusable liner is the best way to store dirty diapers and avoid stink. So I purchased a 13 gallon trash can (with a swinging lid which does not seal) and am thinking of purchasing the Large Dekor Plus 2-pack Cloth Diaper pail liners to go in them. It seems like a great deal as they come in a two pack and I like that it has a drawstring for easy hauling to the laundry room and can even be hung from a door if need be. Any one try these yet or have an opinion?

Thanks!

Re: Diaper pail liners

  • I want to say I've heard negative reviews on these, but I could be wrong. We're using the Planet Wise liners, and they're working well for us. I usually throw the bag in a laundry basket so it doesn't bother me not to have handles on it.

FWIW an open hanging wet bag has worked great for us, too.

  • I haven't heard anything about them. We use Planet Wise and they work really well. We also have a large PW hanging wet bag for a secondary changing location and a small PW hanging wet bag for daycare.

  • I use Planetwise, too. I've been very happy with them. We've had them for over two years and they've never leaked.
