I have a June 2013 baby and June 2014 baby. It is not easy and it has been a little hectic in my house the past month or so. Especially since my 4 month old getting older and not sleeping all day. How do ya'll cope?
My baby should have been June 13 but he decided February 13 was cooler. And I have a June 2014 baby. So adjusted...yes? DS is around 9/10 months developmentally. It's hard. I just tell myself it won't be like this forever and that eventually DS and DD will be awesome friends.
Its a weird mixture of being really bored and really busy at the same time! Before 2, I got out of the house a lot more. I only leave the house now if it is going to play group, or if my husband is home. I'm sure it is something that every mom has to go through. I've just been going a little stir-crazy these past few weeks. I've heard once the youngest is 1 it gets a lot easier.
I have an 18 month old who is getting really whiny. My almost 5 month old is really deep into the 4-month-wakeful period which is brutal. Oh and I have a crazy active 4 year old too. So yes I feel pretty overwhelmed sometimes and not a lot gets done around here some days. But I know that everything is just a phase and will pass eventually. Hopefully the sleeplessness will be sooner rather than later! I manage a lot better when I get some sleep.
Lately I have been getting up about 3-4 times a night, so I'm due for some sleep. I feel ya on the whiny-ness. My 17 month old is always whining and I feel like I am always getting mad at her and telling her no. I feel so bad.
Nice to meet you Anniejar. Your little ones are just a month older than mine!
Re: Does anyone here have a 17 month old AND a 4 month old?
I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
