I asked DH if he liked Micah and he said no, but he likes "Mieke" for a girl. That's the correct german spelling for it to be pronounced "mee-kah."
1. Love it, hate it? 2. Spelling: Mieke, Mieka, Mika, Meeka? Mee'kah? (Just kidding on the last one). 3. Any other german girl names you like? I love Luisa but DH is out on that one.
@BunnyBerry we both have german heritage, but I know what you mean. We may not be german *enough* for a very ethnic sounding name. That is definitely something we would need to keep in mind.
