Hi Ladies....as one who has NEVER POAS until after a BFP, I was curious as to when those of you who had 3dt's did POAS.  I'm contemplating doing it day before beta.  My beta isn't until 11/13.  ugh 12 more days.   I will probably chicken out though.  I think 2 years of start white sticks scarred me....

Beta #1 14dpo - 72, Beta #2 17dpo 145 Beta 3 20dpo 521
First u/s June 15 saw HB 126 bpm missed m/c 7/5/12 10 weeks D&C 7/6/12
IVF#4 ER 9/30 ET 10/3 Beta 10/16 BFFN. IVF #5 final with o/e. ER 1/21 only 1 retrieved, hoping my lonestar is the one. Beta #1 2/6/13 = 209.... please let this be it! Keep growing lonestar! Beta #2 2/8/13 - 586! , Beta #3 2/10/13 = 1898. First u/s perfect little heart beat at 116 bpm. Measure 6 weeks 1 day. EDD 10/14/13
3/4/13 measuring right on track beautiful heartbeat 171 bpm, graduated from RE to OB... bittersweet.
PAIF/SAIF always welcome! Its a girl! 

Maggie Grace is here!  10/5/13... 8lbs 6 ounces of pure joy!

TTC#2  No birth control since DD was born.  Getting ready to jump back in the saddle.  Weaning this month. RE
appt scheduled 5/8.   Here we go again!

IFV# 6.  10/27  6 retrieved 4 mature 3 fertilized.  2 made it to 3dt 10/30. 1"very pretty 8 cell" and 1 6 cell.  Beta
11/13.   Please stick embies!!!!  We love you so much already! 11/12/14  POAS, BFP... beta tomorrow!
11/13 beta #1  924!!!  2nd bet 11/15 1906, one more on 11/17 3rd & final beta 3430.  First u/s 12/5, 7w4d, 2 heartbeats,
both measuring right on track....2nd u/s... all is well... both beans measuring right on track... released from RE... first
appointment with MFM 1/5.  Looks like this is really happening!

    I started testing around 2dp3dt to test out my trigger.  I started seeing darker rather than lighter lines at 6dp3dt.

    I tested out my trigger and got a positive at 7dp3dt.  Of course, way back in the olden days when I did IVF, the pregnancy tests weren't as sensitive.  With my recent FET I tried to test out the trigger and no luck, I never saw a total negative but did see the lines start getting darker around the equivalent of 10dpo.

    I too, tested out my trigger, and then got my BFP on 7dp3dt. It was pretty early and very faint, but I was rather sure at that point it was real since I had tested out the trigger shot. My first beta was around 12dp3dt and it was in the 400s.




    IVF #1 ET 1 d3 embryo 10/30/11 BFP
    3 Embryos frozen (1 d5, 2 d6)

    DS born 07/29/12

    FET #1 ET 1 d5 embryo 02/10/15 BFN

    FET #2 1 d6 embryo didn't survive thaw, transferred last d6. CP :(

    @chiwifey, thanks.  I thought having DD would make the time pass a little easier.  What was I thinking????  Instead I keep looking at her imagining her with a sibling.  Then I get terrified it didn't work.  With my track record, I have to assume that it didn't.  Took 5 IVF's to get her....worth every injection and heartache.....but still, as we all know, such a struggle.  I wouldn't call it self control, more being a chicken!  To me seeing the "not pregnant" or no line is worse then hearing the nurses message.  I always let it go to voicemail.  9 more days... I can do it!   ;)

    TTC since 3-08 IVF # 1 Dec 2011 BFP DD born at 31 weeks 6-24-12

    No more frosties

    IVF #2. September 2014

    PGD yielded 2 perfect 5d blasts

    I tested the day before beta.  I wasn't going to since it was my birthday and a negative would have made it worse, but for some reason I couldn't stop myself.

    I will confess this past 3dt I tested 6dp3dt :) I know that's kind of nuts...it's the earliest I ever tested and honestly, when I saw the faintest line ever on the FRER I wasn't sure whether it was trigger or the real deal. Wishing you tons of luck!! 

    ETA: I've always tested before beta just because I've always found it easier to adjust my expectations beforehand than have someone else tell me the news over the phone, but that's obviously a totally personal preference.
    IUIs #1-3 (1x unmedicated, 2x Clomid) = 2 BFNs, 1 m/c at 7w3d
    IUIs #4-6 (injects) = 3 BFNs
    IVF #1 = BFN
    FET #1 = BFN
    FET #2 = BFN
    IVF #2 = BFP, b/g twins lost at 20w due to partial abruption/PPROM
    IVF #3 = c/p 5w2d
    Long-shot Clomid/Prednisone cycle before next IVF = BFP, our beautiful, healthy girl born 6/26/13!

    We did a 3dt, but I was a beta-waiter. I will say the first thing after the call from the RE was to hug DH and run to POAS.
