1 dilated kidney?

Hey all,
Just got a call from my doctor....she said it's no biggie, but one of my baby's kidneys looked dilated on the latest ultrasound (this past Thursday). She said that it wasn't a big deal, especially since it's just 1 kidney and there was no indication of any issues whatsoever at my fetal survey, but just to keep an eye on it and mention it to my pediatrician after baby arrives. I'm not too worried, but wondering if anyone else has any experience with this?

    My sister found out my nephew had this over the summer. She was told the same thing, have the pediatrician take a look after birth. In his case it still looked dilated and they ended up doing some extra imaging with a pediatric specialist but it wasn't too bad. She said they flushed some fluid up the urethra and watched where it went under x-ray, maybe when he was around 2 months? Since there was no backflow in the wrong direction or signs of a major issue it's just something they are going to monitor. 
    Thank you. I'm hoping it's nothing...my doctor gave me the option of seeing a pedi before the baby gets here, for peace of mind, so I might do that, but it's nice to hear some 1st hand knowledge from people who've gone through similiar situations nonetheless.
