Hi all, i'm looking for a little help. I wanted to do a Harry Potter room/nursery for my boys. Any ideas where to start looking bedding and stuff? I haven't seen much, but I just started to look.
I found this blog when I searched for harry potter theme nursery, she had some good stuff, and a lot of step by step diy for the nursery, seems pretty simple, good luck!

Thanks everyone. I thought it was a cute idea, My DH on the other hand just looked at me like I was nuts! This coming fromt he man who wants to name our sonThor!
We are also doing a HP nursery. We're going with a Gryffindor red & gold color theme with some brown accents. 3 walls are gold/yellow and 1 (the one with the crib) is red. We got red curtains with a jacquared gold pattern and the "old looking" fringed tie-backs.
We did a Harry Potter/Owl nursery for our little girl. I used the same bedding! It looks beautiful the tree on Amazon that matches makes a great Whomping Willow
Wth? Hello old ass thread. Good job person I don't know.
wow! i found this TODAY while searching for harry potter nursery and getting final ideas. other people can still see it and it might help them. i don't see the need to be so rude.
Um no. Most people won't be on this board. Our babies are 6mo old. Go away.
Yes Ive also googled Harry Potter nursery and this is what popped up. It was helpful till it got rude. I would think you'd be aware that once something is posted on the internet it stays there. Calm down lol.

LOL if only posts had some sort of time stamp so that you could know how recent the conversation was...

Re: Harry Potter Themed Nursery
You should look on etsy.com

Some other things we have planned:
- dressers painted red with decopaged pages of HP books on the front drawers
- framed posters (can get on Amazon)
- items on shelves (can get on Amazon - Leaky Cauldron metal sign, quidditch goggles, scarf, Harry's glasses, Hedwig, Gryffindor banner, sorting hat, snitch)
- broom on top of the window to look like a curtain rod (can get replica HP broom on Amazon)
- we're not getting a complete bedding set (I think it's a waste of $$$), but we're planning on getting pieces from this set:

- I plan to make this mobile:

- Quotes from the books/movies either stenciled on the wall or made on the computer in HP font (you can download for free) and placed in vintage frames found at consignment/thrift stores
- DIY textbooks:

- "Lumos" and "Nox" on the light switchplate
- A name wall hanging like this:
