Brown Discharge (sorry if TMI)

Hey, ladies.

QQ: I'm in the 12th week and have been experiencing a light brown watery and sometimes mucusy discharge when I wipe in the morning. I haven't had any pain or red bloo associated with it, but I wa wondering if anyone else has been experiencing something similar.

To be clear, I called the doctor, who told me to wait and observe. I have my first full ultrasound on Monday and am freaking out a bit.

    Don't know, Sorry. Hopefully the weekend passes quickly and Monday goes well though.

    I had it for one day around 8 weeks. If it's brown the doctors office told me it means old blood. I freaked out trust me it's hard not too. Hope all is well

    I had it almost daily from 8-10w. It was super scary, since I had a loss at 8w.

    But, I've had three great ultrasounds! One was when I had the spotting. There was nothing to explain it, and I felt fine. My doctor said many pregnant women experience this. And two pals also told me they had brown spotting with pregnancy. They have healthy kids in elementary school!

    It's happened again occasionally, and I still get nervous.

    Just had the same thing at 10 weeks. went in for an ultrasound yesterday, everything is perfect. I am Rh negative though so that's why i had to go in, I needed a shot just in case. I was told this is completely normal cause your body is going through so much trama in a short time

    I had a little bit of brown spotting around week 9 when I wiped after going to the bathroom. Doctor said it was ok and there was just a sensitive spot on my cervix and it was from a blood vessel or something. She said basically as long as it wasn't red and there wasn't a lot, not to worry!

    This happens to me almost regularly at this point; I spotted at 5-6 weeks, 8-9 weeks, and I'm spotting now a little bit at almost 12 weeks. My doctors said that they could not find the reason why it was happening, and at my ultrasound they said that everything looked right on track (and we heard a great heartbeat!). They said that since it wasn't a heavy flow, and it was brown, then I shouldn't stress out about it, and I should just call if it gets more intense. Apparently some people just spot throughout their pregnancy...doesn't make it less stressful when it happens, but I try to just relax and distract myself from worrying. Good luck with everything!

    I had some over this weekend as well. It's scary as hell. Just keep an eye on it and make sure you are letting your doctor know. I won't see mine until the 12th. I hope it's nothing and there's a reasonable explanation.

    I've been having the same thing since Friday I was supposed to have a doctors appointment today but started to bleed a little so came to the emergency room instead now I'm waiting to be called in im so scared hoping it's nothing. My husband and I were so excited to have a baby...

    I had something similar for a few days around 9-10 weeks and was freaking out, of course.  My doctor didn't seem concerned in the slightest when I contacted her - she said to call if it was bright red and/or "unprecedented."  I've had two successful ultrasounds since then and I haven't had any spotting/discharge in a few weeks.  Most likely it's nothing to worry about!  Hope today goes/went well.

    I had some too during that time and was totally fine. Once you get you're sonogram you'll feel a lot more relaxed!

    Turns out I was having a miscarriage :( if you feel something is wrong go get checked

    I'm almost at 11 weeks and I just noticed the same. Brown discharge. I'm calling my doctor today. Hope all is well with you

    I'm at the very beginning of twelve weeks and had the same. My doctor gave me similar advice but I know I won't stop worrying till my next ultrasound on the 12th. I hope everything is ok with your baby!
