IUI due to his low libido

My DH (I am 40 he is 36) and I have been trying for just a short while. My FSH, AMH, HSG were all normal, antral count 10 and 11. He had an elevated white cell count on his SA and took 10 days of antibiotics. Hopefully that is all cleared, we will find out in 2 days. All that being said, we are not able to ttc because he has no libido. None, nada, zilch. It's beyond frustrating for me, and I know for him as well. So we are planning to request IUI at our appointment on Wednesday. Has anyone had experience with anything like this? It's just really not what we expected and we want to treat his low libido but that can't happen until there is a baby (testosterone supplements decrease sperm) So here we are, it's not ideal but we want a family and need to make a plan. Thank you for any comments and support.

    I don't have any good advice other than to say my DH has low libido as well due to being on some medications.  It makes things really frustrating sometimes.  I hope you can find something that helps and get some answers as to how to proceed soon!

    I think an RE will have no problem doing an IUI for you if asked, you could even bank a bunch of samples to use for future IUI's while your hubby gets some treatment, if that is the way you go.

    But I totally agree with murrt...get thee to a Urologist  and they will probably give Clomid a try first off.

    Thank you all for the responses, DH will have blood work done in 2 days and I am hoping we can discuss seeing the urologist that specializes in infertility, clomid treatment and banking sperm at that time. I appreciate all of the help with my question list! DH is very healthy, his initial SA #'s were great, just the increased white blood cell count, so hopefully after that is cleared up then he will be all set.
