  • 1. What's the most played song on your iPod/iPhone/phone?

I listen to a lot of Pandora so there's not too much repeats, but I'll listen to Something Bad by Carrie Underwood & Miranda Lambert on repeat.

    2. How many places have you lived since moving out of your childhood home?

Since I moved out at 18: 3 towns; 10 apartments (the first 6 apartments were in the first 3.5 years).

    3. If you could learn one new skill (sport, artistic, practical, anything), what would it be?

I want to learn to speak fluent (or at least conversational) Italian or French.

    4. What embarassing story does your family or significant other always tell about you?

My dad loves to tell this one: When I was a little girl, he he would always say "Come here, young lady!" when I was in trouble. I would put my hands on my hips and yell back, "I'm not a young lady!" Apparently I thought he was calling me a bad name.

    5. Other than perhaps the obvious, what is your favorite body part of your significant other?

No doubt...his shoulders. He's got these building shoulder muscles and looks like a GI Joe action figure. I love when he wears simple jeans and undershirt tank. **Swoon**

    Me: 28  MH:35

Married September 2012. TTC since September 2013

    Cycle 1 (Nov 2014): 2.5 mg Letrozole/Ovidrel/TI = BFN

    Cycle 2 (Dec 2014): 5 mg Letrozole/Ovidrel/TI - BFN

    Cycle 3 (Jan 2015): 5mg Letrozole/Ovidrel/TI - BFN

    WTF consult scheduled for 1/29

  • Happy Monday to you too!  Hope you all had a good one.

    @Shafwilson - this is a good one.

    1. What's the most played song on your iPod/iPhone/phone? On my Pandora I'm really loving Pills & Potions by Nikki Minaj and Sail by Awolnation.

    2. How many places have you lived since moving out of your childhood home? I'm pretty pathetic and didn't move out until we got married.  So we've lived in two total, our first apartment together and our house now.

    3. If you could learn one new skill (sport, artistic, practical, anything), what would it be? I want to master the cello.  I used to play when I was younger and my DH bought me one as a wedding gift but I haven't really done anything with it.

    4. What embarrassing story does your family or significant other always tell about you? It's a toss up between leaving a halfway coherent message on his phone while I was asleep or spilling my drink on a blackjack table at the Bellagio because I was wasted.

    5. Other than perhaps the obvious, what is your favorite body part of your significant other? Years of hiking gave him the best legs.  They're pretty damn hot.

  • @BlueFairy5 I actually LOL'ed at your story about the seder!  I come from a pretty observant Jewish family and DH actually converted a few years ago so we're familiar with random funny questions/statements.  You should hear what DH has to say about gefilte fish every year.

I also have to say I'm pretty jealous of the pre-K Haggadah.  My family takes seders very seriously.  My aunt and uncle host every year and in addition to the full Conservative Haggadah my uncle provides all sorts of supplemental readings/articles/discussion points that he spends the year collecting.  (They are also fun with lots of songs, props, and good food).  Our seders are definitely marathons that go on for hours!

  • 1. What's the most played song on your iPod/iPhone/phone? - Anything by Maxwell Hughes- He is a phenomenal guitarist.

    2. How many places have you lived since moving out of your childhood home? - 3 different cities, but 7 different apartments/homes.

    3. If you could learn one new skill (sport, artistic, practical, anything), what would it be?- I would love to learn how to oil paint.

    4. What embarrassing story does your family or significant other always tell about you?- I can't think of stories my family tells, and DH doesn't really have any stories that he tells, but sometimes he tells people about the weird things that we as couple do with each other... not talking bedroom stuff here- just those quirky things you only do with your SO.

    5. Other than perhaps the obvious, what is your favorite body part of your significant other? - I love his blue eyes. He is also a big, tall guy so I always feel safe.

  • 1. What's the most played song on your iPod/iPhone/phone?

Currently, Waterfall by Chris Tomlin and Style by Taylor Swift (they have the same number of plays).

    2. How many places have you lived since moving out of your childhood home?

    10

    3. If you could learn one new skill (sport, artistic, practical, anything), what would it be?

    To speak Spanish fluently.

    4. What embarassing story does your family or significant other always tell about you?

That I used to color code my toys and line up my food before eating it. In hindsight, I was probably very OCD (I would hide in my clean room if the house was a mess, even as a toddler), but it's still pretty funny and slightly embarrassing.

    5. Other than perhaps the obvious, what is your favorite body part of your significant other?

His arms. Mmmm. Strong and comfy to be held in.

  • 1. What's the most played song on your iPod/iPhone/phone?
    Pentatonics: Daft Punk Medley

    2. How many places have you lived since moving out of your childhood home?
    Florida twice, Tennessee twice

    3. If you could learn one new skill (sport, artistic, practical, anything), what would it be?
Playing drums! I've tried so hard to learn but I'm just not musically inclined

    4. What embarassing story does your family or significant other always tell about you?
Oh lord, probably that I always make escape plans/emergency plans for everything. I'll wake Mr.DaBears up at night if I discover a better escape route for a hypothetical scenario where we are being robbed/are in a tornado/ about to be rear ended

    5. Other than perhaps the obvious, what is your favorite body part of your significant other?
His calves and perfect eyebrows. Women are jealous of his naturally awesome eyebrows.

  • 1. What's the most played song on your iPod/iPhone/phone?

I don't listen to music on my phone or ipad.  I tend to just listen to the radio while driving, but right now I love All About the Bass by Meghan Tranyor

    2. How many places have you lived since moving out of your childhood home?

I believe it is 8, but one of the house I lived in 3 times, does that count?  My DH and I actually bought my mom's house :)  Right now it is our forever home because I can't even fathom the idea of selling a home.

    3. If you could learn one new skill (sport, artistic, practical, anything), what would it be?

I would love to learn how to sew.  I am just not patient enough for all the little details to follow a pattern properly.  I have a sewing machine and a surger, and sometimes I pretend like I know how to use them.

    4. What embarassing story does your family or significant other always tell about you?

Oh I have two that my family loves to tell.  One was when I was two and broke my arm I used to chase my older brother around and hit him with my cast.  The other one was from when I was about 14/15 yr old and on day during the summer I came home drunk out of my mind (doing some taste testing at a friends while the parents were away).  I ended up barfing on my driveway, and my friends ensured me that they would clean it up.  I went to bed.  When my mom came home, she saw the evidence on the driveway (apparently it was not cleaned up, or the standards of clean from my drunk friends was slightly off) she came to check on me.  I convinced her that I must have had food poisoning from some Swedish food I ate (my friend whose house we were partaking in the taste testing was from a Swedish family...my teenage brain thought it was brilliant!! lol).  My dear mother allowed herself to believe me.  But to this day they do not let me live that one down!

    5. Other than perhaps the obvious, what is your favorite body part of your significant other?

I absolutely love his eyes!  They change based on his mood, but usually they are beautiful blue/green.  I do also love his forearms.  There is something super sexy about them!

@mmurt and @lemonliz I love to knit!  I find it to be so relaxing and keeps my hands busy, while creating something!  I know a woman at work who gets so stressed about knitting that her hands start sweating just watching someone!  I believe it is such a useful past time!

@shafwilson I LOVE Girl on Fire for Alicia Keys!  I actually had the opportunity to meet her a couple years ago!  She is stunning!  She didn't say anything (I guess she was saving her voice).  The whole day leading up to it my friend and I were trying to decide what to say to her??  What do you call her, Alicia?  Ms Keys???  We knew we only had a brief meet and greet thing.  So we practice all these super witty things to say, I get up there and I say "Hi I'm Amy"...um she doesn't care what my name is! lol.

@iputketchuponketchup I LOVE your siggy challenge picture!! LMAO!  It's perfect!

  • Thanks for posting @shafwilson, good questions!

    1. What's the most played song on your iPod/iPhone/phone? I oscillate between "Wide Open Spaces" by the Dixie Chicks, "Samson" by Regina Spektor and "Shake Your Hips" by the Rolling Stones.

    2. How many places have you lived since moving out of your childhood home?

4 cities, 11 dorms/apartments/houses. We just bought a house a few months ago, so hopefully my packing days are over for a while.

    3. If you could learn one new skill (sport, artistic, practical, anything), what would it be?

I'm with @LLM100811, there are too many to pick just one. Sewing and languages would be my top choices. Unfortunately, I tend to dabble and not complete, so I have a half finished dress and about a dozen different language books.

    4. What embarassing story does your family or significant other always tell about you?

There are oh so many, turns out I do embarrassing things all the time. Since we are coming up on the holidays, I will go with a Christmas theme. I used to open my Christmas presents by cutting the tape on each one with a knife. Never tearing the wrapping paper and folding each piece ever so nicely. It would take me 2-3 hours to open all of my gifts. My main motivation for doing this was to torture my younger brother, who would finish unwrapping in about 2.5 seconds and then have to sit and watch me for hours as I unwrapped mine. No Christmas goes by without someone handing me a knife to open my presents.

    5. Other than perhaps the obvious, what is your favorite body part of your significant other?

He has beautiful hair. I mean seriously Pantene model beautiful hair. I want his hair. He also has nice calves.

  • This is great! I feel like I need to re-intro now anyway...

    1. What's the most played song on your iPod/iPhone/phone?

Apparently my top two songs are by The Cure (I kind of figured that though)- Never Enough, followed closely by Hot Hot Hot.

    2. How many places have you lived since moving out of your childhood home?

10 times. Once out of the country, the rest have all been in the in the southern states (USA).

    3. If you could learn one new skill (sport, artistic, practical, anything), what would it be?

Self-discipline? I wish I was better at getting stuff done earlier, rather than procrasinate, and self-discipline seems like a good skill to have for that kind of thing.

    4. What embarassing story does your family or significant other always tell about you?

I don't think anyone has one? Although, I did just slow-motion fall out of bed last week, so I'm sure he'll get some mileage out of that.

    5. Other than perhaps the obvious, what is your favorite body part of your significant other?

His legs. He has very nice legs. :)
