For anyone who isn't familiar, NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month, which happens every November. The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November. You can check it out on
NaNoWriMo.org
I'm curious if there's any other NaNoers out there. I've attempted it for the last few years, but haven't won yet. I'm sure I'll at least TRY again this year, though with mush brain I'm not sure how well writing will go. Guess it's about time to start brainstorming ideas. If anyone wants to add me as a writing buddy I'm SheHulk on the NaNo site.
Re: NBR - Anyone doing NaNoWriMo this year?
I LOVE writing and making up thriller plots absolutely captivates me. I'm glad you ladies are participating this year! It will be my first time, too.

DH and I might do it. Ooooor I might just take naps. We'll see
Well there isn't a panel of judges who read all the submissions. Think of it less like a competition (because it really isn't a competition) and more a literary cleanse. Get all your ideas on paper and worry about editing later.
I've never heard of this. I write short stories on my lap top when I have the time and creativity hits. I will have to check it out. Thank you for the info on it.
