Pregnancy brings out the crazy

So when I got pregnant I just assumed it would be me who would be affected most emotionally. I was so wrong. My "crunchy" cousin keeps sending me botched pictures of circumcisions and informational packets on how circumcisions are wrong in the mail after I told her to not do that. I've posted about her before but she is reaching new levels of insanity. Anyone have a similar experience?

    Yeah see, that's not the way to persuade someone not to do something. Educating? Sure. That's a little over the top. I actually have a FB friend who is kinda like that. She posts all of these articles that are 900% one sided and really strange- pictures, etc. I just ignore them.  I don't have anyone in real life who is like that, thank goodness.  I have people try to give advice... that's fine by me. I don't mind education and learning what others do.  Ultimately, I (and my H) will make our own decisions in the end.

    I really love that turtle pic! I agree that you shouldn't engage, but what if you told her that yes, indeed, she changed you're mind! But of course you still do whatever you want. I'm sure the pics she sends you cannot be easy to look at, so if you lie to her, maybe they'll stop?!

    I don't mean to make light of what is clearly an ongoing family dynamic but, I do find it a bit funny that with all the decisions that go into having a new baby she has chosen this issue to advocate with so much dedication. :) I picture her picketing at the hospital with a giant sign that reads, "Save Our Dicks".

    I hope she can learn to respect your choices. Obviously, you have put thought and time into this decision and she should understand that.
