My faves were always snickers, peanut m&ms and smarties. Years ago, I use to love Mary Jane's. Anyone remember those? They were chewy and on a stick.

i feel like chocolate is anytime candy, and not halloween candy. so i prefer junk candy you wouldn't eat any other time of year...nerds, fun dip, blow pops.

My favorite is Milk Duds and those caramel apple lolipops, but i also like Kit Kats.

@deedee1017 -- smarties are the WORST! As a kid i always thought that the white smarties gave me headaches. Now i just think they taste like sweet chalk

I know! It's the oddest thing because everything else with the chalk consistency makes me cringe.

While we are on the subject of Smarties....

I know you guys are talking about the Smarties that are just pure sugar and come in the little roll, but every time someone mentions them, it always makes me think of the Smarties that Cadbury makes (I think?) - the M&M-type candy. Maybe this is a UO, but I HAAATE those. I love M&Ms, but I freaking hate those M&M-impostor Smarties. And I hate how people always act like Smarties are superior because they are European or something.

So I grew up in Cali and Live in Boston Metro...no idea why, but No One here knows what Abbazabba's are. They look at my like I made up that work and I have never seen them in the store. I sometimes this its an east coast west coast thing. That was my favorite candy when I was a kid...yummy

I totally have to disagree with you, I grew up on smarties (Canadian version) made by Cadbury. Omg they are the best!
I actually can't stand regular m&ms (horrible I know)

I saw those awful popcorn balls in Target yesterday and had an immediate flashback from childhood tick or treating. Popcorn balls = a pang of disappointment in the middle of my chest.

Reeces, almond joy, and fast break are my favorites. I love snickers but only the holiday shaped ones (pumpkins, eggs, christmas trees). They have a better goo to peanut ratio!

I voted Reece's, because chocolate and peanut butter is the best, though I did love 100 grand as a kid.
