Empty baby sac and a sac full of blood

in 1st Trimester
so I went to the doctors on Wednesday after a light bleed and bad cramping he sent me for a ultra sound on friday. My due date wasn't known as I have irregular periods. The baby sac was empty (hopefully because I'm so early) and there was a further sac but it was full of blood, I tried to ask questions but I was told to be quite whilst they work. I have left the hospital knowing nothing until the 10th. I'm driving myself crazy!

    I don't have any words for you other then I am sorry for what you are going through. How frustrating to not get at least some answers and to hushed when you asked a question.

    I'm not a medical professional, so take this with a grain of salt, but I'd guess it's either a blood clot or a "vanishing twin". If it's the latter then I'm truly sorry. I hope you get better news at your next appointment.

    Either way, it was shitty of them not to address any of your concerns. If I were you, I'd be looking for a new doctor ASAP.
