What age for Happy Feet & Finding Nemo?

My 18 month old DS was given Nemo and Happy Feet DVDs over Christmas.  We popped in the Nemo DVD the other night and he loved it for about 15 minutes and then lost interest.  I'm wondering how old they have to be to enjoy the full movie?  It was fun to snuggle and watch together.

Re: What age for Happy Feet & Finding Nemo?

  • It's child dependent.

Cam has no issue watching a movie in entirety --- and she has pretty always been that way.

Joey is 4 and STILL doesn't watch an entire movie --- unless it's bed time.  He's just too active -- or is that ADD?!?  ;)

  • A loves both of those, esp. Happy Feet. She's not good at sitting still for long periods and is just now getting to where she can sit through movies (she's 3).

  • My dd is 2 and will sit and watch all of finding nemo or another disney movie most of the time but other times she will go play and come back to watch it then go play agian.,
  • My son started watching Cars at 2, will sit through pretty much the whole thing.  But he won't watch any other movies at all.

  • We drove from VA to Florida when Sophia was 22 months old and no interest in Nemo.

Now at 2 years 3 months she watches all of them...Mermaids, Nemo, Madagascar and of course DORA --even asks for them by name.  It is truly child dependent though some of her other friends here could care less about a movie or tv show.

  • My DS loves Finding Nemo.  He started watching small amounts of it this past summer when he was 2.  He didn't watch the whole thing at that point, but now he is 2 1/2 and watches most of a movie that he likes.
