@NinerGirl52 is at the hospital for induction! ***Update #2 HE IS HERE!

@NinerGirl52 was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday for some monitoring because her fluid was measuring low. She's been there ever since and will likely be giving birth tonight or tomorrow morning! It's been a long and slow 4 days for her - let's get her some good thoughts, prayers or whatever else you've got so that she has a super easy labor!!

Tuesday: She was admitted for monitoring when fluid levels measured low. They put her on an IV for 48 hours to see if the levels would increase. They didn't,

Thursday: Levels still measured low, so they decided on induction. NinerGirl52 started Cervidil to get her cervix ready.

Friday: The Cervidil didn't work as well as they'd hoped, so a second round of 12 hours was started. The second round was a little rough on her. It got her cervix softened a bit but not moved.

Saturday: Pitocin was started at a low dose in the wee hours of the morning. Still no dilation after 12 hours so a balloon was inserted to help things along this afternoon. Once that has been given a full 12 hours they will start the Pitocin again.

I hope that my next update is that baby Ninergirl52 is finally here!!

***UPDATE ONE***
Sunday: NinerGirl52 had the balloons removed - those got her to 3cm. Then theyy started Pitocin, which got her to a 4. Unfortunately, things kind of stalled out at that point and although there were somewhat regular contractions the baby was not drop down.

Monday: They took NinerGirl52 off all medicines at midnight to prepare her for a c-section at noon (PST). She is finally going to get to meet her baby today!! I will post the good news as soon as I hear from her!

Jeremiah Thomas is here!! Born at 12:35 pm 7lb14oz and perfect! Both mom and baby are doing great!!
