I'm having a hard time organizing my nursery. It's a big room so space isn't an issue.
In the changing table I have:
-diapers in the tall side door storage area
-boxed wipes and changing pad covers/liners in the top drawer
-lotions/buttpaste/bath time stuff, wash cloths & some receiving blankets in the middle drawer
-bottom drawer is full of refill wipes
The tall dresser has 5 drawers. So far top down:
-socks/booties sleep gowns, hats/mittens
-empty but plan on onesies/side snap shirts/body suits/pants
-Smaller blankets
-empty
-empty
I'm waiting on a bookshelf to get here for the closet so I can put away all the later clothes.
I'm not sure where to keep burp cloths/receiving blankets. I have them all folded in a small/medium clear Rubbermaid container currently.
Also have extra crib sheets, afghans, heavier blankets, play yard sheets, and a few halo sleep sacks/swaddles that I'm not sure what to do with yet.
Maybe put the sheets in one of the dresser drawers?? Sleep sacks with the sleep gowns?? The bigger blankets will be too big for the dresser drawers *cursing children's narrow depth furniture*

Re: Nursery Organization
I have quite a bit of storage too even though the room isn't huge. We have a big closet where I have clothes hung by size and a refill box of diapers. Theres also a bin with extra receiving blankets and bibs and a box started for outgrown clothes.
There's a built in dresser with 5 drawers. I have most of his clothes in there organized by size- top being the smallest and bottom the largest. I figure I'll move them up as I need to. Bottom drawer is crib sheets and change pad covers. There's also a cupboard above the dresser with a couple of bins- one with socks/shoes and one with hats. Then there's the change table with 4 baskets below. One basket has swaddles, one has diapers and cream, one has all the bath stuff and one has all the "medical" stuff.
For some reason writing this has made me want to go and re-do it all immediately. Nesting or OCD?
A bin for outgrown clothes is genius. Added that to my list!
@CarrieAnne09 I forgot about storage cubes/baskets. I have a couple of those and that might be a good option for the receiving blankets!

We also moved a dresser into the closet because it didn't fit with the rest of the room decor, and we have lots of unused drawers in there for more clothes. We actually don't have a lot of clothes yet because we're team green, so we have some basic onesies, sleepers, gowns, and a few cute little gender-neutral outfits, but not knowing the sex of the baby really kept us from stocking up on clothes.
@MmmPopcorn I thought about another dresser in the closet. I'll still have a shorter area below the rod next to the shelf after the shelf goes in. Then I have one spot where like a single stack cube shelf of any height would work. Also, love blankets, but cutting all the little plastic taggers out them was a pain in the ass!

Another drawer with receiving blankets/burp cloths.
Next drawer has blankets and swaddle blankets.
Under SD's bed I have a tote with a couple baby blanklets and crib sheets.
All clothes are hanging in the closet.

Forgot about bibs too. I don't know where to keep them either!
You sound like you got your room organized though

Currently it's filled with size1 pampers from a diaper cake. I've been too lazy to take all the rubber bands off of those diapers

It sounds like you have a ton of extra space in his drawers. I just put newborn, 0- 3 and 3 month clothes in his dresser and put the bigger clothes away in a large storage bin in his closet for now.
I hung the sleepers and folded up the swaddles next to the pjs in his dresser.
Onesies are folded by size but those full body outfits are hung.
Bibs, socks and hats are in a top drawer in his dresser.
Are you guys organizing short sleeves and long sleeves? I haven't but some of his stuff is hand me down and is short sleeve that we can layer.
Also Pier1 sometimes has a decent basket selection, although they can be a bit pricey.
Also maybe a Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Gordmans or Homegoods if you have any of those near.

@KUinCBUS over the door shoe organizer--another genius idea! Thanks for sharing that!
@danigirl830 sounds like you have it pretty organized as well!
@Econosaurus love your room! I'm not sure what I'd put in the long door side of the wardrobe either.
