The twins first halloween we hit up a few of the neighbors houses to show off the cuteness, not necessarily to trick or treat. We still only go to the same neighbors houses to show off the cuteness but they know about the candy now.
For DS's first Halloween we went to our church's trunk or treat. He actually got some candy too. This year we are taking DS and LO but won't get any candy for LO. We just want to show her off.
Team Halloween over here! Not only is little man going trick or treating with friends, hubs and I are dressing up to match. And my SIL sent him a monogrammed treat bag. And he may go to daycare dressed up.
We took the baby with his older brother. DS1 started asking for candy for his brother after a few people offered. It was really sweet, although we had him stopped so we weren't rude. It was sweet of DS1 though.
We are dressing Julia in a costume and going with my niece and nephew but she won't be getting candy. Like others, we just want to show off her cuteness in her fuzzy black kitty costume.
Our ToT was last night and we just took him around to our immediate neighbors to show him off/get pics. Some of them insisted on giving him candy (he was carrying a cute ToT bag). He had fun watching all of the other kids on our street.
We're taking him to the grandparents and aunts and uncles houses. Our hs is having a trunk or great to get people to the 2nd round of sectionals that we were going to go too, but it's suppose to be nasty out. Looks like we'll be driving to about 4 places then calling it a night.
Team No Halloween here. We won't get ToTers in our building, and we've both just gotten over being sick.
I'm excited for everyone celebrating in Calgary, though; it's not going to be that cold tonight (high 40s)! Hearing DH describe his childhood Halloweens made me even happier to have grown up in Florida. Poor DS will probably have to wear some costumes over snowsuits in his lifetime :-q

lol, isn't that the joke in the states? That us Canadians have to wear snow suits over our costumes!?
Luckily for me on the lower mainland, though usually raining, it was never toooo cold to go TOTing.. Where we live now it can definitely get reeally cold, thats why they have the indoor trick or treating (at the mall) for the little tiny ones as an option, so they can actually show off their costumes and not freeze.
