Searched and didn't see one for this week.
I've been banging my head all week trying to work on this shelf project in between sleeping and working night shift.
After much cussing and a little help from my husband I finally finished it!!
Show me what you got ladies!!
I made a personalized wipes container for another pregnant friend. Then I designed a shelving storage solution for the cheap diaper table I found. It involved turning moving boxes into somewhat pretty drawers. I found baskets or canvas would have ended up costing me $35 and this only cost me $10.
I just got a pattern/tutorial for baby leggins so I'm going to try some out this weekend, and hopefully get started on one more little quilt for the baby.
My mom made this hat. I made a "Babe the blue ox" hat for myself for Halloween, but I'm still trying to decide if I want to sew the edges or just let fabric glue hold it together.
I also made this pumpkin baby - ha ha. I'm not as talented as some of you ladies.
not sure how crafty this makes me feel lol... but I made this haunted mansion out of a box a ping pong table came in for my church's trunk or treat fall carnival. I painted the ghosts on cardboard as well, and the bats, who are "flying" around the top (i.e. they're attached with coat hangers). the leaves are of course from my front yard, and they kinda cover up the little "stone" path i spraypainted on leftover cardboard. ha. when it got dark, we had a creepy little lantern lighting it up and some glow sticks hanging from the tree. it was a lot of fun to make, and the kids LOVED it, so that's what matters!
I made one of these for a friend and am working for 3 more for my kids. The tree is a nursery rhyme tree and then you hang leaves on it where you write babies name and then date of birth or stats on the other leaf
I finished the blanket I crocheted for LO a few days ago. After I make a trip to the craft store to get purple yarn I will begin a second one for her ( because the first blanket is a teal color or a green/blue, it was what I had enough of on hand). I also plan on crocheting 3 -4 more for my two cousins and DH's cousins who are all expecting around the same time as us.
Finished the blanket I was making for a friend. Also finished DS's blanket. I decided a while back I wanted.to.lengthen it. The quilt for my friend is wrinkly because I used a basting spray to secure it in place for sewing.
Re: We're so crafty we make babies! 10/29 Craft Check In
Next up, monograms & book slings.
I'm already in bed, so I'll post a picture tomorrow.
And a small shoulder bag for me:
