Anybody else?

So my baby girl is a right wriggler and then she takes like two days where she doesnt move much and it scares the hell out of me! (Shes done this once before) And today seems to be one of them days as does yesterday.. Ive still felt a couple kicks but not so hard and not as much.. Is this normal?

Re: Anybody else?

  • Yep! I don't think they worry about constant kicks until 3rd trimester. My daughter was like that for several weeks.

  • I've been told by my doc don't expect regular kicks until 30 weeks.  My little boy has been quiet now for the past few days and it's driving me nuts!  I have my 24 week check-up on Tuesday and it can't come soon enough.  I want to hear that beautiful heartbeat!

I haven't gotten nervous about him not moving but mine does the same thing. I just wish hubby would be home or available on the super active days! He's yet to feel any really awesome kicks. Every time I tell him to feel, little boy decides to go radio silent! Lol dang kid.
  • Thanks for your replies guys means alot and puts my mind at rest more! Thanks again ;)
  • I remember at 24 weeks exactly I was worried because of the same thing, it was a few days of little/light movement and then it picked up again. I wonder if they have a big growth spurt at that time!
  • Yea I just attribute the "not - so - much - movement" days to him growing bc after those days I get bigger he kicks me in new areas I've never felt before and my belly gets super itchy.
  • It happens to me too and I get very worried. My I have found that while my little one used to be more active duringn the morning and afternoon lately they seem to be most active as I'm sleeping. My husband is happy about this since he gets to feel all the kicks and twirls while I snooze away. It just makes me worry. And the cold sruff trick does not seem to work with my stubborn little one. Ice water, cold juice, Popsicles nothing gets them moving around. Other than playing Ice Ice Baby lol that always gets them kicking
