and I don't mean what sex is your baby, but sex.

In my past pregnancies, I have gone through that igottahaveitallthetime phase around this time (nearing 13 weeks). My first pregnancy I was on pelvic rest so that sucked. Last time the phase lasted maybe a week?

Anywho, I don't remember feeling swollen after. And not right after, but the mornkng after. Look, I know there is a ton of blood flow etc, but this just struck me as super odd. Normal, maybe, but odd.

Pregnancy sex (now, not later) is pretty awesome though, so I'm not complaining.

Anyone else having weird things or maybe different things going on?

I want it all the time! My lady parts we're swollen around week 5-9ish.. But not really now.

Swelling didn't happen for me until later on. I can see why it would get swollen though. Thankfully, I want sex more this time than last time. Last time we had sex maybe 5 times through the whole pregnancy.

I'm always horny when I'm pregnant. I'm on pelvic rest right now and it sucks. I haven't gotten swollen yet but I think usually when I get further along, I get swollen by the next morning

I definitely have an increased sex drive. I think about and dream about it all the time. My boyfriend is definitely not minding, but even though it is safe I sometimes have to remind myself lol

I don't think I have really had any swelling yet.

Anywho... I am enjoying it!

I'm jealous. I am praying for more of a sex drive soon. My poor DH is getting it maybe once a week and it takes a lot of effort to even make that happen. (11w)

I wanted it more when I was pg with my son. When I was pg with my DD, and pg now, not so much. It's mainly because I'm sick so the movement of it all makes me even MORE sick, but I also just don't feel very sexual. It's weird for me because I am a VERY sexual person, so to not want it is odd.

I usually give it up once a week to DH just so he doesn't feel neglected, and I have a great time when we are, but afterwards, the illness comes back stronger and I regret it.

Not swollen, but tons of nasty CM. Ewwww.

We haven't had sex since my ovulation window when I got pregnant. Haha. I'm too afraid to see that inevitable spotting. I was sex crazed in second tri last time, so hopefully once my nerves go down in second tri I'll let loose.

We have only had sex a handful of times since I got pregnant (10 weeks). And it's not because I don't want it, but because I am SO damn sick that it's just not possible. When I am having a good day though it is ON.

I wish I had an increased sex drive. Last time we did it & after climaxing, my pelvic area felt really weird and that freaked me out!

We don't have sex, I don't want to and he is scared to. We tried once at like 6 weeks, he said my downstairs felt swollen and it actually was not comfortable for me. So he stopped because he was freaking out that he was going to hurt the baby. So we haven't tried since and I really don't want to. Maybe in the next trimester I will feel better, we shall see.

We have had sex once since getting our BFP. Most of the time I feel so awful it's the furthest thing from my mind. The couple times I've felt okay, having our little one running around made that impossible. I feel bad and I miss being close. I'm hoping things improve in the second tri.

I actually want sex this pregnancy but I am too damn tired most nights. We've only done it a handful of times since we found out. I am hoping that I will have more energy in the second trimester because it is really enjoyable when it does happen.

My desire for bedroom time has definitely taken a nose dive. I feel really bad for DH since its only been a handful of times since we got the BFP, but I try to make it up in other ways lol

I find myself being just too damn tired to want to do anything. Plus DH STILL does not understand, even after nearly 10 years together, that issues with my hips pretty much wipe out a lot of the more fun positions. So he's kinda stuck with the boring stuff.. and isn't pleased whenever I have to remind him that the issues are only going to get worse, not better. So no... I cannot be on top tonight dear, for the millionth time.

I was on pelvic rest for awhile initially, but am finally off. However since then we have tried 3 times and every time i've had spotting so I think DH and I both are pretty skittish even thought the Dr said it is nothing to worry about.

I just don't feel the need especially when I feel fat and constipated, but if boyfriend puts in a little work then it's amazing! Best orgasms ever. But if he doesn't initiate then it doesn't happen

I was told no sex for next two weeks after the CVS test. NOT happy about that! I don't notice a big change in desire, but do notice that I am more sensitive (better blood flow!).

I feel so sorry for my poor DH-we have only had sex once or twice since finding out we are preg. I have literally ZERO sex drive and always feel like crap at night when we are together. I just keep telling him things will change in the 2nd tri. FX

I had zero sex drive until 10.5 weeks and then BAM - out of nowhere did I start to want it more. And before then we were barely having sex 1x a week, if even that. I think it's also because my nausea and fatigue are starting to subside now. And yes, swollen. Since around week 8 and still now...

My drive is starting to come back now, right on schedule. I suppose it helped that H was out of town for a week. Absence always makes the, umm...heart...grow fonder.
