R is. A few others at daycare around the same age are not. We haven't started potty training, he shows 0 interest. He did sit on the potty for about 3 seconds clothed last night. That is a new record.
I feel like they keep his belly covered and keep him more warm. He is a freeze baby (like his momma ) and doesn't seem to mind them, but maybe I should be using them less?
We still do onesies when I can get them in 24 mo/ 2t. I like them for layering, they keep her warm, no riding up. She's in a onesie today. We are potty training, but I don't mind them, she insists on stripping to sit on the potty regardless of what she's wearing.
Wesley is still wearing onsies. I even ordered onsie extenders from etsy for his onsies so he can wear them through the winter. I do layer them under his shirt when it is cold and he has no problem with them even at daycare. He still sits on the potty even when in a onsie, we just unsnap them and then snap them back when he is finished. If you like them I don't see why you have to stop using them. We get cold weather here so I will like having an extra layer that doesn't ride up on him this year.
We had 26F when I dropped him off in the barn this morning, so I'll just keep using the onesies. My annoyance with them is pretty low still, but is rising, so we'll see how long I last. I bet we're done by May 2015
I'm amazed that some of you are not layering. You make me feel like we are living in the arctic, haha.
I'm still putting K in daily onesies for the same reason as OP, layering warmth and belly coverage. Extra milage out of her tees this time of year with the long sleeved ones. But even in Summer she was in sleeveless onsies. I'll switch to cami's/tanks full time when she is potty training. Carter's makes a wonderfully soft long sleeve undershirt that stays put, but it's never freaking in stock.
