Welcome to the TTFAS AL check-in. This check-in is for TTCAL-ers with living children to talk about the issues about TTCAL while you have a living child. Living children and pictures of living children are welcome here, however if your pictured child is an infant (< a year old), please do place a warning at the beginning of your post to alert ladies who are having a hard day. Please remember to post an intro on the main board as we are all here to TTC a sibling!

Hugs to you @bootsorhearts. I hope your EDD wasn't too rough on you yesterday.

AFM, this week has been better than last. My EDD last week was on my DS's 3rd birthday with AF unexpectedly arriving making for an 8 day LP. It was a recipe for emotional disaster. Replaying where I was 3 years ago with the birth of my son while also replaying DD's birth experience from July was just too much. And then to be smacked in the face with a "you're not going to get knocked up anytime soon with a rainbow baby because your body is fucked up" reminder from AF made me break down pretty much all day long. But since then, I've been doing much better, and I'm getting myself ramped up for my next FW.

QOTW: My mom and grandma made all of my Halloween costumes, and the one that stands out the most in my mind is a unicorn. It was pretty awesome. I didn't pick up on it then but I can imagine now how much my mom and grandma probably cringed when they realized they had to figure out a way to make a unicorn costume.

Just realized I never posted my update. I got the lab results from my blood work from last week and it was all within the listed range. I haven't heard from my Dr yet if that range is a "normal" range or something else.

Also, DD's sleep has been erratic again this week, but we've concluded it is definitely her 2 year molars. I just got the photos from my MIL to work on DD's Grandfather's scrapbook (I've only been waiting 2 years for them).

And I'm officially in my 2WW. I will be testing the morning of my wedding anniversary if AF doesn't come the day before. So I will either get to have celebratory anniversary sex or no anniversary sex because AF sucks! (this just dawned on me 10 minutes ago!)

QOTW: My favorite Halloween costume was actually a year I did not trick or treat. I was an 80s rock groupie (I think I was 12 or 13 at the time)

As for me, I am holding in there. Finally stopped bleeding today (took about two weeks), but otherwise just twiddling my thumbs.

QOTW: I was Maid Marian from Robin Hood one year and I loved the costume. It was a really pretty green dress.

Hello everyone, I'd like to join the check-in as well. My loss was almost 4 weeks ago, EDD was 6/1/15. I have an almost 2 year old DD. I'm actually doing pretty well. Having DD to focus on has really lessened the blow from my m/c. She keeps me busy enough that I can't really sit and feel sorry for myself. I've had my f/u appointment; since my levels dropped so quickly I was given the green light. We are actually in the TWW right now. I didn't temp this month, but I used OPKs and I plan on testing Sunday/Monday (if I can hold out that long).

GTKY: I think my favorite Halloween costume was one my grandmother made. I don't remember how old I was when I wore it, but I was Dorothy from the Wizzard of Oz

I'm new to the board but I'd love to join this check in. My most recent loss was only last week, EDD was 3/25/15, and the EDD prior to this was 9/11/14. DS, Graham, is 31 months tomorrow! I'm still recovering from the delivery, a bit of PP bleeding still but finally not crampy anymore. I had my OB appointment today, but they unfortunately had not yet received any results from bloodwork or post mortem. I'm not shocked, but I am not a patient person and am struggling with the waiting game. But it really is all out of my control and I'm learning to take things day by day. He was supportive in recommending me to specialists, once the results are all in.

QOTW: I guess I wasn't so young but I dressed up as a greek goddess when I was about 21 and I think I looked hot. Haha, I rarely think that of myself so I like to remember that Halloween

Today I had my CD 3 blood work/ultrasound/talk with doctor. Af showed up 35 days lost loss, which is one positive I guess. I had a huge blood test done a few weeks ago and one thing came back abnormal and I will have that tested again to see if it was just my body being silly post loss, a lab error, or really true. If it's true, I will be on blood thinners if I get pregnant again.

So the plan is: Clomid (for 5 days, started today) and timed intercourse. I have no problem ovulating, but they are hoping that I will ovulate on both sides that way my tube has a better chance of "catching" an egg.

I'm not feeling much of anything at the moment, I guess I'm glad to have a plan but honestly don't feel hopeful about ever having a viable pregnancy again.

QOTW: I can't remember any of my childhood costumes, they must have been lame, but when I was pregnant with DS I worked at a daycare and I was a Mummy, get it

DH helped me make the costume, I ripped up the muslin and DH glued them on me (well on the under clothes).

Hugs to everyone who needs them. I'm new to the board, but I would like to join the check in.

My loss was detected 10/23/14, but I had a D&C yesterday. My EDD was 6/5/15. I have a DD who is 20 months. I'm doing a lot better than I was earlier this week. I think the D&C helped bring some closure, plus DD has been keeping me busy, so I don't have much time to think about it. I will be getting my HCG checked weekly for at least the next month until it is 0. I see my OB again Dec 3, I'm hoping that the pathology from the tissue from my D&C will be back so we can go over the results (we're looking to confirm a molar pregnancy). Hopefully then my HCG checks will go to monthly.

GTKY: I wanted to be a unicorn one year, so my mom made my costume that year. It wasn't the best, but I absolutely loved it.

Sending hugs to everyone.

Sorry this is non specific tonight. Having a horrible week. DS has another double ear infection and I'm running on low sleep. My company did another layoff and it included a lot of colleagues and I also found out I'm getting a new manager, but won't know who or what I'm doing until next week. I love my manager so it totally sucks. Ugh, just a long week, but excited to see DS in his cute costume tomorrow.

Hey everyone, sorry I have been so absent. I have really been struggling. I'm on my second Femara only cycle while we save for the injectables+IUI in January. I'm on CD13 and day two of positive OPKs.

QOTW: my favorite costume was also a unicorn! It was made from purple fabric and had an awesome hood with a horn on it. My mom made it for me when I was about six.

Hi everyone! I'm inpatient this week. Been benched for 2 months and waiting for day #1. I'm on steroids & antibiotics for a sinus infection. If day #1 comes, I have to call and ask RE if it's ok to start since I'm on these meds.

Favorite costume was bunny, I think.

Hi all, sorry for my tardiness, it's been a crazy week. I'm happy to report that the OB I saw in surgical consult has agreed to work with me, and has been phenomenal thus far. My fibroid removal is planned for December 16, and he is supportive of the fact I want it done vaginally. But due to the complexity of the fibroid, he is also going to do two incisions in my abdomen for another surgeon to monitor it from the outside, as he said his margin for error (in cutting through the uterus) is only 3mm due to the position/depth the fibroid is embedded. While I'm nervous, it is such a relief to finally have a plan in place. Only six weeks and 4 days to go

@tigerlynx31413‌ no he actually recommended that I stop it immediately, as there isn't enough data to deem it safe for fertility, esp when we are doing the surgery anyways. So now just working to get the first month covered, since I paid OOP. It's such a relief to have someone in my court, I've been fighting for 3 months now and felt like I was on an island.
