@AnnaClaire256‌ add me, please! I am looking forward to iui #1, likely on Friday. Test day would be 11/16. For Halloween DH & I will be doing the iui, then taking the rest of the day off to work on costumes for the day of the dead party our friends throw each year. I'm counting down the days already

Monitoring tomorrow, then IUI probably on the weekend. So relieved that this is our last IUI on this protocol, makes it not such a big deal to fail because we're getting more aggressive next time (probably adding injects). I've really been enjoying this one and only week per cycle not on hormones - using the energy to clean and bake.

QOTW: The teachers are all dressing up at different superheroes, famous ones or made-up ones. If anyone has a good, easy idea for a funny made-up superhero costume, I would love to hear it! Hopefully we have enough candy left for the trick-or-treaters (we made the mistake of buying the candy a couple weeks before Halloween), if not there will probably be a Friday-evening run to the store!

still no AF for me... but have yet to get a BFP on a HPT.... I think it's the progestrone delayng the inevitable... which was extra depressing. The RE told me to continue taking it until my blood test tomorrow, and if (when) it's negative, I can stop taking the progestrone, which should bring on AF. Most likely moving to injectables next month.

QOTW: Definately enjoying a bottle of wine (or 10) while handing out candy at my best friends house!

So I just had my 3rd iui this past Saturday and I had two follicles on my left side (this is my first time having more than just one follicle)....so I'm very happy about that. And MH had 20 million washed sperm which has gone up from 16 million WS last month. I'm hoping that the odds are in our favor this month, I feel hopeful and I'm already over this 2ww I'm dying to just know. I'll test the week before my bday...hope I get a bfp!

QOTW : I'll be going to to my sister's house to watch Hocus Pocus....The best Halloween movie ever lol and of course eating popcorn balls YUM!

@BunnyBerry I hope this cycle surprises you, but if not I'm glad you have a good plan for next cycle! We have been debating on whether or not to try a couple IUI cycles with injects before going to IVF but the jury is still out on that.

@wannabeamother sounds like you are set up for a good cycle! good luck

@darcyhermione Fingers crossed for you.... that is so exciting! I hope it's a real BFP, I'm looking forward to hearing the official news later this week. I would be peeing on ALL of the sticks right now if I were you.

I'm on CD6 right now, taking my femara. I go in for monitoring at the end of the week with a possible IUI on Halloween or the day after. There seem to be a lot of us going in this weekend! No other news to report here.

QOTW: We don't really do much for Halloween, neither of us are into it. Last year we went to dinner then Dave and Buster's. Anything that takes us away from home - our dogs hate all the knocking/doorbell ringing so on Halloween we turn into that house and shut the lights off and leave. We are well aware that we are Halloween grinches and we are totally fine with it.

Nothing to report here...at all. Jus sayin heeeeey! I feel like a lame check in leader when I'm not doing IUIs but I'm cheering y'all on!

QOTW: I'm with @mbrookeRN‌ my dogs LOSE THEIR SHIT every time the doorbell rings and I can't fathom trying to wrangle them out of the way to answer the door 5 billion times. DH works so I think I'll just go to my mom's house and hand out candy with her!

@AnnaClaire256 please add me. Had a monitoring appointment this saturday. My E2 was 146 and minimal follicle growth so my dosage was increased to 112.5 iu. Next appointments are tomorrow-9:00 am lab draw and 3:00 pm ultrasound. I am seriously considering calling in sick tomorrow so that I don't have to drive back and forth but I always feel guilty about lying. At the same time I am tired of having to explain all these last minute doctor appointments. This will be IUI #3.

QOTW- My DH and I deck out the house for Halloween. This Friday I work the evening shift so I will most likely miss the majority of our trick-or-treaters. Maybe we'll put on a movie.

Still temporarily benched. On BCP until 11/11, and then will have another ultrasound to make sure all the cysts have cleared. If they have, prep for IUI 2 will begin.

I go in for my 3rd IUI in the morning. Hoping this is the one! I'm not sure if we will do another or not. Probably will. I really want to take December off and that will happen, looks like.

QOTW...My husband will be at work. I will probably be at home with very few lights on. We live out in the boonies so no one will come here anyway. I've never been a huge fan of Halloween. Bah-humbug.

CD1 today. Should be starting IUI #3 process but DH needs to do some testing. Going to do a medicated cycle and maybe with some luck we won't need an iui!!

No Halloween plans other than handing out candy and trying to keep myself out of the bowl haha

I had IUI #4 this morning. At Friday's ultrasound they thought I had two follicles right on top of each other, but by Sunday they weren't so sure, and they seemed to think it might be one big funny looking one. So I'm not sure what to think about that. Also I had an LH surge before trigger AGAIN, for the fourth time. Does that happen to anyone else? The first time I thought it was a fluke but now I realize that's obviously just what my body does. My RE acts like it's not that common but hopefully it's not THAT unusual??

QOTW: no huge plans. We live in a brand new neighborhood so it will be interesting to see if there are any trick-or-treaters.

Hey everyone! So I am up in the air about whether or not to send the swim team to the spa this month or not. (Sperm washing for IUI). I was going to look at a medicated, TI cycle to save money for Christmas. Now I'm thinking I should see what my monitoring on Wednesday shows and if I ovulate on the other side, we might go for it this month and just try TI next month. I'm such a flake, but I like to keep it interesting! So I will update that next week. If it's lioke last month, I will probably go for IUI on Friday or Saturday. @DarcyHermione‌ FX for you!!! Nothing better than seeing this work for people! **********trigger warning************************** QOTW - I am. On call, so drinks for me. DH is taking my DS (age 15). to an Alice Cooper concert on Halloween. Should be an interesting time for them. They are dressing up for the concert. Friends are having a party, so once our trick or treaters slow down, I will probably head to the party. Costumes are mandatory, so I have some planning to do.

I am 11dpiui for IUI #6.
This TWW has been an emotional rollercoaster (as it often is) starting off with feeling discouraged and now feeling petrified that I have my hopes up way too high. I think that I may POAS tomorrow morning, and I'm so nervous!
Beta is this Thursday.

QOTW: Our neighborhood gets a TON of trick-or-treaters, so we will be home handing out candy. We get so many kids stopping by that we usually keep the front door open and sit in front of it.
Then, on Saturaday we are going to a costume party. My husband and I are dressing as Fry and Leela from Futurama.

CD12 here, I go in for another US and blood work tomorrow. On Saturday I had two follicules on the left side at 10mm, so we will see how much they have grown since then. This is my first IUI so I am not really sure how the cycles work out, hopefully we will do the procedure this week.

FX for all the lovely ladies here during all stages of their cycles.

QOTW- we live in a kid infested neighborhood and will be passing out candy all night. Luckily I can just sit with DH on our bench in front of the house and drink wine.

CD 9 here, literally just had DH give me FSH injection. I tried to do it myself because he had a worried look on his face but couldn't do it. But he was a champ and did great!! U/S on Thursday and then hopefully IUI#2 next week.

QOTW - I have to work but was able to take the last four hours off of my shift (I work 12 hour shifts) so I could take DD trick or treating. We go up to my parents neighborhood and she gets spoiled rotten by all the neighbors there that have known her since she was a baby.

I'm switching RE's this month so it's an old fashion non-medicated/TI cycle for us. My appt with RE is this Thursday. I should be starting this weekend so hopefully moving on to IUI #3 very soon.

Quick update: I just starting the second week of the 2ww. Work has been crazy busy and stressful so I haven't thought too much about it. For some reason, I don't have a lot of hope this cycle. I have no real reason for that but it is just a feeling I get.

QOTW: I have no major plans for halloween beyond handing out candy. MH and I have a fancy wedding to go to on Saturday so I probably will go figure out something to wear.

I am on CD13. I just got back from my pre-trigger follie check, and this is the first time ever that I have left my OB feeling fantastic. I have 3 follies over 20 on the unblocked side! Woohoo ovaries! IUI scheduled for Saturday.

Good luck to all the other ladies doing IUIs in the next few days. Seems like there will be a lot of us going through the TWW together!

A quick update, I had my cycle monitoring this morning for CD11, two beauty follicles, 20 and 22. Had shot of ovidrel and will go tomorrow for my IUI. Fingers crossed for IUI #2. Good luck to all of us who are in, or about to be in the 2WW period!

@lindy04aggie I have a t-shirt that says "Shiny" on it that I wear for good luck on IUI day. Not that it has been particularly lucky thus far, but one of these days, it is going to work! I'll be sending shiny vibes your way all day tomorrow

update: I got my surge early, and went in for my iui on Wednesday. Afterwards, I started Second guessing myself as I thought of more & more questions I wished ai had asked. I've been doing research online & will ask, but was wondering if anyone else has recs from their RE? 1) How long should lie down after the procedure? I thought I had read it doesn't matter; my RE said 5-10 minutes, but didn't time it or have a timer available. Later I read that there was a Dutch study that said resting for 15 minutes increased chances by 10%, but I've not found any follow up study. 2) BD the night of the IUI & two nights afterwards increases chances? 3) This is personal, but how do you manage the OPK timing? My RE recommends Clear Blue, and following the instructions; or testing between 10 and 2. The catch is, according to Clear blue you should not have peed for 4 hours prior to testing. I usually drink though the day (b/c I read it helps cm & blood flow to your uterus), and really can't predict a four hour moratorium in the middle of the day. I've been testing at 7:30 or 8 am, and was planning to double up on tests & do one in the afternoon but got caught off guard by the early surge. What do you do?

About lying down after IUI, I usually do 5-10 minutes but they say I can stay longer if I like. There are millions and millions of microscopic sperm in you and standing up is not going to make them all gush out.
