@Lcgroenewe, that does sound like what my LO has. I kinda regret not asking earlier because he just had his appt on mon. I will call the NOL and ask. I am curious, is your LO able to hold their head up at all? Or is it always 'wire' neck? TY
Yes my LO holds her head up perfectly fine and now a lot of times you can barely even notice the tilt. I realized super early on that her head was always tilting to one side and went in to the pedi. I think she was diagnosed at 2 months? But they did say most cases don't get diagnosed until 4 months so you're probably right on track.
What is wire neck? So far for us it hasn't been a big deal at all...like I said we just do the stretches. Her tilt is very noticeable during tummy time because she has a much harder time turning her head all the way to her difficult side. Beyond that it hasn't given us much trouble so far.
That is good to know, I'm glad that your LO is doing better/well! Wire neck is what the websites that I researched called it. The official name torticollis, sometimes referred to as wire neck. TY again, I will be calling his pedi to see if they want him in sooner. TY
My first LO had torticolis. And it sounds like what you described. As a result also got head flattening. We did PT for awhile and it all cleared up. It didn't not end up being a big deal. Call your pedi to see what they say! Good luck!
