I saw you post somewhere else that they thought you might have had GD with your son, were you not tested for it with him? I'm just being curious (read: nosy) you don't have to answer if you are not comfortable.
@chicagojackie I had the GD with my son and didn't have it this pregnancy when I was tested around 15 or 16 weeks, but I have to go for another one next month. I was so excited when I passed my 1 hour and someone asked me if they were going to make me come back for another 1 hour and I was crushed, because it hadn't occurred to me that I might have to do it again .
But @samuelismomma had previously posted that the doctors thought she had it when she was pg with her son and I was just wondering if they didn't have her do the GD test. How come the doctors didn't know for sure, is what I was wondering.
@footprint I was tested with DS at 30 weeks but I had preterm labor at 28 weeks and had steroid shots they can mess with the results. I failed with high result , they just don't know what caused it. My son was 5 lbs 8 oz and 19 inches at 34 weeks. They think I probably did have it...GD is a concern because of large babies and I have small pelvis, so is great news! Oh and nosey is fine! Haha
Re: GD test!

@footprint
I'm on a scientific fact tear today so I just want to throw this out there:
-Moms with previous GD are at higher risk of GD in future pregnancies
HOWEVER
-May not have it with subsequent pregnancies
