Hi! I don't really have much to update...I'll be 14 weeks this weekend and official in 2nd trimester, which is exciting. I posted a comment on FB announcing our pregnancy - it was pretty simple, though. I mostly wanted to be sure and note that we struggled for years and were grateful for those who supported us through all the waiting, surgeries, and treatment. I got a few messages from old friends now dealing with IF, which made me happy.

Mostly I just wanted to say hello and that I still stalk here and look at the check-ins. Good luck to everyone!

QOTW: Does The Bump count? I haven't read much baby material, yet. Kinda a guilty pleasure, but I read Andy Cohen's book Most Talkative and really enjoyed it!

Hello ladies,

I'm 30 weeks today! Starting to get tired again but otherwise I've been feeling good. Not sure how much is actually pregnancy versus crappy fall dreary weather :P

We did maternity photos last week! We have gone all out on this pregnancy because we know it's a blessing and not sure if I'll ever have the opportunity to be pregnant again. If you want to check out photo it is on Jennifer Hosking FB page (I'm the latest maternity photo on there, a few pictures down...warning she is a maternity/newborn/1st year of life photographer.....). We attempted a 3D ultrasound but baby was shy and didn't want to show their face

So we will do a retry in two weeks.

But anyways, hope all is well with all you ladies. Sending many thoughts and prayers your way!!!!

QOTW: I'm not a big reader, probably because I'm still a student at age 30, I get to read patho this semester :P I spend my down time watching tv and hanging with the hubby

Hi Ladies! Pregnancy is very boring at this stage. No appts, not really showing, it's too early for much preparation, and most of the 1st tri symptoms are gone. Boring is good, I know, but after having so many Dr's appts for so many long, this feels very odd! Just counting down the days until the A/S on the 17th.

QOTW: I've been rereading things lately, like Jane Austen and Harry Potter. Aside from that I've been reading pregnancy books. I'm trying to build up the courage to open Ina May's Guide to Childbirth, but I'm nervous about it!

Hi all! I am the same as @IFinTN‌ - 9 weeks 5 days today. Time is really flying when you look at the weeks, but man, I feel like each day goes by so slowly. First Ob appt is Thursday. I can't wait and hope to see the babes again.

QOtw- I bought Dr Luke's multiple pregnancy book, mayo clinic and a baby name books. I think it's going to take the whole pregnancy and then some to come up with 2 names OH and I like.

Hey ladies!

I am 26 weeks and change and my babies are growing like crazy! I am getting super uncomfortable as I am measuring 34 weeks but I guess that is to be expected. We need to finish up our nursery here in the next few weeks. Bed rest is looming so I am trying to get everything urgent done this week. I find out on Thursday if I am put on bedrest.

QOTW:
I have been way too tired to read but I did read DR. Lukes book on Twins and What t do Whn you are having two. I have a stack of fiction books on my nightstand I will break open when I can no longer work.

Hello, all! I'm 14w2d today, and feeling a little too big for my britches - literally. I think this might be the weekend that I buy maternity pants.

I had my NT scan last week & aside from the thrill of just seeing both babies, I was extremely relieved to have good measurements. The only little issue is that one placenta is a little too close to my cervix, so my OB has me coming in again next (2 weeks after my last appointment, instead of 4), just to check things out.

We also slowly started announcing to people recently - which, is very weird. I'm not really sure how to do it, who to tell & when, but more and more people are getting the news all of the time, so it's feeling a bit more real.

QOTW: I am a terrible random Googler when I want information. I know this is not a good thing. So, I'd like to go out and buy the Mayo Clinic book, and probably a book on multiples. I've seen some recommendations for "What to Do When You're Having Two," as well as the Barbara Luke book on multiples, and I think I might check those out.

I had my first OB appointment yesterday and I was able to hear the heartbeats for the first time. We went ahead and announced to the rest of the world after our appointment. It feels weird to no longer have this secret.

I think the horribleness of first tri is slowly starting to wane. I've actually made it multiple days without getting sick and the all day nausea seems to be subsiding.

I'll have the NT scan next week, and then I'm on track for an ultrasound every 4 weeks.

QOTW: I haven't read much beyond the bump and google, but I think I am ready to possibly purchase a book on multiples. I did get a large book of information from my OB that I've paged through a few times.

23 weeks tomorrow. The first tri was great but now I am feeling what most of my friends complained about: heartburn, breathless all night, etc. I haven't been able to sleep much in the past few nights and sitting up and trying to sleep is not that easy but I am not whining much about it, this is what I wanted to be (preg) so I will roll with the punches. I've been reading a multiples book my Ob gave me.

Hi ladies! Not too much to report. I am FINALLY off some medications that were making me nervous (estrogen, prednisone and prometrium). I have our anatomy scan on the 13th and no appointments until then. We leave for our surprise babymoon/ anniversary trip on Wednesday. Once we come back we will be working overtime to get registry, nursery and downstairs living room done.

QOTW: it's November- I will be on every Black Friday preview website probably every other day all month.

AMShark I had partial previa at 13 weeks and I was just told pelvic rest and not to overdue it... mine resolved on it's own by 20 weeks. My MFM said it isn't atypical with twins... good luck!

Hey ladies, I've been lurking around IF and brings back lots memories and emotions. T&P (&FX) to all of you!

I always forget when this check in is so I've missed some I'm pretty sure...but I'm 30 weeks with twins. I cannot believe I've made it this far. Its still odd seeing myself actually look pregnant. Im becoming very uncomfortable and it's getting harder each week (not sleeping, back pain, terrible heartburn) but it's so worth it and I cannot believe that in just 7 weeks ill be meeting my LOs! I have an apt tm for another cervical check and u/s.
We pretty much have all of our essential baby items (had shower at 26wks), nursery is waiting on cribs, and my mom is making some gowns for them to come home in :-)

QOTD: as far as websites- TB... I have been reading The Lost World on my kindle (im a sucker for old classics, love the writing style :-) )
