Appointments/symptoms/rants/raves: Starting to feel mildly uncomfortable, especially laying down at night. Lots of RLP. Next appointment is with the specialist to discuss the results for the bloodwork she ran to look into why he had an echogenic bowel. Nov 18th
GTKY: Of all of the Halloween costumes you've ever worn, which one is your favorite or was the most fun? In high school I decided to be a vending machine, that was one of my favorites because I made it myself )
Appointments/symptoms/rants/raves: I spoke to my midwife office to clear up the issue with having two new midwives, the problem being they are not on the same team therefore their schedules aren't synced. Turns out that they will be a team come january / February so I will get one of them at the birth! It was really stressing me out to think I could call and end up with someone I've never met. I choose midwifery care to avoid this scenario.
GTKY: Of all of the Halloween costumes you've ever worn, which one is your favorite or was the most fun? You know those super clever people who come up with genius costumes year after year...I'm not one of them!
Appointments/symptoms/rants/raves: Nothing much going on. The pressure I was worried about last week is gone, so I think it had more to do with digestion (ahem) than anything else. Massive headache today, but nothing other than that.
GTKY: Back in 1998, my sister and I dressed up as the 1997 and 1998 Stanley Cups. The Red Wings had won both years, so we did cardboard cutouts of the Cup, painted them silver, and wrote in all the Red Wings players' names. I was '97, she was '98. I think it's the only time I've made my costume.
Awaiting our bundle of cute chaos.
F15 January Siggy Challenge: What You're Looking Forward to Most after Baby Arrives
Appointments/symptoms/rants/raves: I had a major Charley horse in my calf the other night. It is still so sore. It's been 8 years since I've had one. My mom says I may be low on potassium or calcium. I just don't think I can eat so many bananas or drink so much milk!
GTKY: Of all of the Halloween costumes you've ever worn, which one is your favorite or was the most fun? I loved the costumes I made. One year I did Daphne from Scooby Doo. Dyed my hair
Appointments/symptoms/rants/raves: A few weeks away from the GD test. I'm hoping I can pass it with all the sweets I've been craving. I'm feeling more cramped but I'm also having more days where I just feel normal so I'll take it.
GTKY: Of all of the Halloween costumes you've ever worn, which one is your favorite or was the most fun? My mom was very anti-Halloween when I was a kid and I think it's because she had anxiety issues. She was convinced that every house was going to give out poisoned candy so we would dress up just to visit my grandparents and hand out candy for my grandma. The first Halloween that we actually got to ToT was when I was 8 (it miraculously became ok when my little brother wanted to do it). That year I went as the little mermaid and I can still remember that my mom made the tail and it was so tight I could barely walk. Everyone thought it was hilarious except me but, in hindsight, it was pretty funny.
Cauliflower / Napa Cabbage (who thinks of these things?!)
Appointments/symptoms/rants/raves:
No appointments. Baby moving around like crazy! Found a cute maternity dress for a wedding we are attending in November. Sampling the Halloween candy for quality control (the simple things make me happy ha).
GTKY: Of all of the Halloween costumes you've ever worn, which one is your favorite or was the most fun?
I'm not much of a dress up for Halloween person, but I will be thing year to incorporate the bump!
Appointments/symptoms/rants/raves: started RLP this week but otherwise feeling good! No appointment until next week and I'm assuming it will be just a quick check up. Family is coming into town this weekend and I can't wait!!
GTKY: Of all of the Halloween costumes you've ever worn, which one is your favorite or was the most fun? I also tended to like the ones I made. I made Fred and Wilma flinstone costumes one year out of fleece. They were soooo comfortable. My little brother will be in town Friday and he is "going out to the bars every night" age and he is trying to get me to dress up and go out (lol the thought of that is just really silly). He's going out with his catholic school college friends so I told him I might come out as a pregnant nun. Of course he loved this idea. If only I had the stamina I might actually consider it...
Week: 26 Fruit: Lettuce. I think I'm going to stop paying attention to the fruit, though - too much variation. Appointments/symptoms/rants/raves: I have my 3rd attempt at completing my anatomy scan tomorrow. Babygirl is VERY cooperative when it comes to flashing her bits, less so when it comes to showing us her left hand and/or internal organs. They can see that everything works fine, they just can't get a still shot of it. I'm also doing my glucose test tomorrow. Hopefully they don't tell me I can't eat Halloween candy!
GTKY: Of all of the Halloween costumes you've ever worn, which one is your favorite or was the most fun? I was in 2nd grade, maybe, and my mom bought me a generic pink fluffy dress with rosettes on it. I don't think I took it off for about 3 weeks. I don't even think I was supposed to 'be' anything other than a girl in a poofy pink dress, but I loved it!

I'm too big; I can't believe I'm going to get bigger! Yikes!
I was swine flu one year (a pig with wings). Sadly that was the best I've done.
