    24 weeks, V-Day today!! I've given up on tracking fruit size.

    We have our 24 week appt with our OB today, plan on discussing maternity leave....either start full time leave Dec. 1st, or half days, we'll see what she says.

    Girls are moving around in there like crazy, I swear it feels like a boxing match most days!

    My fave Halloween costume from the past was BatWoman last year...

    Congrats on everyone hitting Vday today!

    This week I'm 26 weeks, head of lettuce.

    My next appt is on the 5th. It's an ultrasound appt so I'm excited to see my little man!

    Rants/Raves: I start my new job next week. It's factory assembly line work so not really anything enjoyable but financially it's going to open a lot of doors for our family so I'm up for the challenge! They were very understanding about my pregnancy & even talked leave without hesitation. So it's nice to know i have people there looking out for me.

    What's your favorite Halloween costume from your past? Ummm that's a tuff one. It is probably when my group of friends all changed sex roles for Halloween as teens. Boys were hilarious as girls lol

    How far along are you (weeks)?:     26 Weeks tomorrow
    What fruit/veggie?: I think my next update is a head of letttuce.
    Any upcoming appointments?: My next appointment is on Nov. 18th. This will be a combined appointment with my GD test. I'm so glad I was able to get an 8:15, I don't think I could make it too long without eating breakfast.
    Updates/Rants/Raves/AW Moments?: Holy heartburn!!! As one who didn't even know what heartburn felt like before this week, I am not a fan. My DH had to explain to me what was going on :/
    GTKY: Since Halloween is this week, what is your favorite Halloween costume from your past? This would definitely have to be the year I went as a 70s PE Teacher. Complete with mullet wig, a wonderful windbreaker sweatsuit, my whistle, and a clipboard.

    What fruit/veggie?: rutabaga

    Any upcoming appointments?: I'm at one right now. I just had to drink that awful GD test drink. Seriously- so gross. I got close to vomitting towards the end cause I has to chug the last bit. I was running out of time.

    Updates/Rants/Raves/AW Moments?: nothing I can think of.

    GTKY: Since Halloween is this week, what is your favorite Halloween costume from your past?

    One year my DH and I went as the painter Bob Ross and a "happy little tree." (DH loved watching him paint as a kid- and Bob Ross was always saying stuff like "let's just put a tree right here, a happy little tree right here in the forest")

    I sewed leaves all over a little dress and finished it off with a smiley face. I really liked not having a store bought costume. But I must confess only about 1/2 of people "got it".

    What fruit/veggie?: Cauliflower. wow that seems huge..
    Any upcoming appointments?: Not this week :) finally!
    Updates/Rants/Raves/AW Moments?: I'm eating enough food to feed a football team on a daily basis. It's ridiculous and hilarious. I went to Golden Corral with a friend of mine who is also pregnant and we pretty much cleaned the place out. No regrets here. I'm starting to really want to set up my nursery, but I'm waiting for all of the furniture and everything to show up first.

    GTKY: Since Halloween is this week, what is your favorite Halloween costume from your past? I was Dita Von Teese for Halloween my freshman year of college. My friends and I went to a club and ran into a guy who was dressed up as Marilyn Manson (who was DVT's husband at the time). He came up to me and knew exactly who I was dressed up as. It became a joke every time I saw him on campus after then. :)
