    Congrats on the new baby! I'm 6 months into being a mom of 2! I can't believe our LOs are turning 3 soon!!

    We'll have a 3 yr checkup. We are dealing with speech delay & concerns of autism, so I want to stay in touch with our pedi about what's going on with EI/therapy & our preschool evaluation that is coming up.

    Even if I didn't have concerns, I still think a yearly wellness check is a good thing.

    We will do a well visit because DD was FTT as an infant/young toddler.  We are trying to keep an eye on her growth and making sure she doesn't completely fall off the chart again.

    I do an annual exam for my kids, my pets, and myself (DH is stubborn).  I am in the mindset that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

    I feel the same way on that she is no longer my baby (she will be a big sister in March).

    She got her flu shot yesterday, especially we me being pregnant, she needs it. Also she will have a well check at 3. There is nothing I have to bring up, but it is important for everyone to have yearly exams.

    DS1 had his flu shot at DS2's 2 month well appointment. Luckily we will be able to combine the 4 month and 3 yr well appointments. Even if we were not able to do so, we would go. I agree with the one once of prevention train of thought.

    11.2011 - DS1

    02.2013 - loss at 6 wks

    06.2014 - DS2

    10.2015 - loss at 12 wks

    03.2017 - DD

    DD is scheduled for her 3 year in November.  I just want to keep in the habit of going at least once a year to do a well visit.  She will be a big sis in April!!

    Yep!  DD even had a well check at 2.5 - that's just what my pedi does, I guess.  And we'll be back in November for her well check at 3!!  And for her flu shot, too.

    Maybe lame, but my favorite part of her well checks is getting her "official" weight and height.  :)  And yes, how are our babies almost 3??!!
