Bachelorette party ideas

Hey so my sister and I are planning our older sister's Bachelorette party. I haven't been to one in forever and need some ideas. What are some fun ideas? Games or activities or types of bars to go to? Right now we're thinking maybe a brewery crawl, a drag show... the bride says she doesn't need anything special, she just wants to get drunk and laugh a lot. So does anyone have tips/best Bachelorette stories on how to make that happen?

We did pole dancing lessons at mine (it was a private party thing). It was surprisingly very fun, especially after drinking a but beforehand.

Defintly look into a drag show brunch in your area. i heard those or even a drag show is fun. Other things to look into is paint nite(if that is available in your area) it is a company that holds it at restaurants with bars. Pole dance lessons. Look into what bars you are considering. Dress her head to toe with penis earrings necklace, sash etc.....in fact make a gift bag with those items and other gag items to open over girls dinner out before the festivities? It has been a while since I have been to a bachelorette party. Hope this helps.

We had a really fun dinner at mine before we started bar hopping (I feel like that sounds lame but I always have the best time at dinner)! Its kind of like the calm before the storm!

Whatever you do, skip the penis stuff. So overdone and kinda tacky IMO? But I'm definitely down with the other suggestions. We have drag show bingo in my area that is super popular. Another one seems to be "painting with a twist" where you paint canvases (with their direction) and are able to bring your own alcohol.

Will the party be before or after your baby is born?

All of the bachelorette parties that I've attended were a long time ago, but we rented a fur bus (like a limo but a disco themed school bus) and went to a bunch of clubs. That was fun, but maybe not as fun if you're pregnant.

For one, we went to a bar/restaurant that does karaoke, and that was fun. I would enjoy a brewery tour or wine tasting thing if I could drink. There's a professional chef near us who will come to your house and cook a dinner with beer pairings for every course, and that might be fun too.

For my bachelorette (years ago), my friends all met at one house where I met them - everyone bought a bottle of champagne and we drank while playing silly games - the one that I remember the most was a series of questions that they had already asked my DH to see how close our answers were. (BTW - I would love to retake those questions now).

Then we went out to a club (which turned into a different club because the first one sucked that evening).

I've also done the pub crawl on a bus sort of thing and really the bus is the funnest part (IMHO)

For another friend's party we stayed in and had a low key night of wine and cheese but we all bought her lingerie (some pretty, some racy, some clearly a gag gift)

We went wine tasting out to dinner then to a bar or two for mine it was a lot of fun! Also my bridesmaids made me a sucker bouquet and I sold them for a dollar. It was called suck for a buck.

I suggest the private pole dancing or comedy show. I've done both and they were a fun start to the night. You can add in dinner before or after and definitely go to the bar to end the night with some dancing!

Dueling piano bars are fun! Also, night clubs, karaoke bars and comedy clubs!
