AW: good first appointment featuring a heartbeat

The little embryo is measuring spot on at 8w4d, with its little heartbeat of 176bpm (DD's at that gestational age was 177bpm). Our usual ultrasound tech was out sick, so we got to have our scan done by one of the OBs. She was so nice.
Now, keeping our fingers crossed for our next appointment at 12w3d.

She was! I saw her once during my pregnancy with DD, so I was surprised that she was taking us back for the ultrasound.
