Trouble TTC a Sibling

Hi! (Intro Post)

Hello!  I am really looking forward to joining you guys.

A little about myself:  I'm 35 as is my husband and we have one son who is 21 months.  We started trying for #2 over the summer and got a BFP in September.  Unfortunately we lost that pregnancy at 7 weeks with a natural miscarriage.  I am just now stopping bleeding at almost 2 weeks after it all started.  My midwife wants to follow my beta numbers down to 0 and we have been benched for two cycles to let everything heal itself and get back to normal.  One of my biggest disappointments in this whole experience is what it is doing to our spacing between kids.  We really wanted them under 2.5 years apart.  I hope that some of you can tell me what will be wonderful about a 3 year age gap since that is what we are looking at right now.

Hope you are all having a great day!

BFP #1 ended with H born 2/2/13
BFP #2 ended in loss @7weeks 10/15/14
BFP #3 due 8/21/15 *please stick*

  • Hi and welcome.  I feel the same as you with the spacing issue.  Each time we have gotten pregnant it happened right away.  I figured this time it would too, so I didn't TTC #2 until we hit that perfect gap that I wanted of 2.5 years apart.  Well here we are, and since I'm not KU this cycle (just started spotting last night) , my kids will be 3 years 3 months apart (if I get KU next month).

    All are Welcome!

  • Welcome! I am such an impatient person that I became depressed over the summer while I healed from my lap myomectomy. We were benched 3 months. My DS is 2, so if we get lucky this month, that'll put us at about 3 years apart. My little sister and I are 3 years apart and we don't hate each other ;)
