Re: sorry wrong board

  • It can take months for you body to regulate when you stop adding extra hormones (birth control) into your system. However, 80 days is a long time. I'm glad you went to your doctor, but is he/she following up on this? Did your he/she give you Provera to trigger CD1? That's pretty typical if you haven't had a period for 60+ days.

  • 1.  Please read the giant bolded thread at the top that states PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.
    2. It takes time to regulate after BC.  Consult your Dr if AF goes missing.
    3. Please post on TTGP, this is not the board for you, most women here are seeing RE and are being treated for Infertility.    Impatient does not equal infertility.

    Good Luck.

Do not read too much into bullet point responses. The subtext to that is not always an attempt to be rude and cutting. Sometimes bullet points are used to get points across in a well organized, direct manner. @kushie77 was not being rude. She was directing you to things you are going to find helpful (a better fitting message board, information for you to get to know about TTC and your body, etc.). Do not jump into a defensive stance.

  • @kushie77 - I have never posted to a message board and it took a lot for me to do so for the first time and put my stress out there. I apologize for "posting to the wrong board" and will probably never even post again after receiving this type of negative, cutting response from someone like you.

I understand you are going through a lot and I'm sorry for that, but the process of TTC is scary for everyone no matter where they are in that process. You should try having some respect for others feelings.
Knowing @Kushie77 quite well, I can vouch that she was not being negative or cutting with her post. I hope that you feel better knowing that it unfortunately felt that way to you, but certainly was not her intention. Reading the "read before posting" thread makes sense, too, even if it's your first time posting.

The advice to call your GYN makes a lot of sense. He/she will be able to tell you what is normal after your birth control and when you would need to be concerned.
