-hubby's job in the army requires us to stay put. I'd love to decorate our home more though.

-I'm a faithful donator to St Jude's. So them for sure and probably all the animal ones. I love animals

1. Very FIRST thing you would do after seeing winning numbers? Scream, jump up and down (sorry babies), run around the yard like a freak.......
2. Who would you tell, if anyone? I like to think I wouldn't shout it from the rooftop to avoid the lottery windfall scenario that always seems to happen, but I just KNOW I'd tell the whole world.
3. Would you be moving from your current residence, or stay put with some super home renovations? While we love this house, we are wanting to move in the next 2 years, so we would probably do the renovations that would increase the resale of the home, move to the area of town with the best schools, and PAY FOR MOVERS to even pack our crap.
4. Where you'd first vacation to? We would go back to Europe ASAP. We'd stay as long as we pleased this time....we'd take a nanny.
5. Would there be any lucky charities/organizations that will be getting some hefty donations from you? As much as I am an animal lover, the money would be kept from our local shelters. The management here is very poor and I don't trust how it would be allotted. I would donate a large chunk to two animal shelters in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where we do a fundraising flyball tournament each year. Delta Animal Shelter and Eva Burrell Animal Shelter are both building new facilities and I'd love to be able to contribute more than we do with our fundraiser.

Tell my husband and then find out when I could collect the money.
2. Who would you tell, if anyone?
At first i'd probably only tell my husband. I would avoid telling my family in WV for as long as possible because I could see them begging for money or trying to sue me for something stupid like emotional damages .

We would finish all the stuff we need done with out current house, sell it, and then move as far away as DH's work will let us from his family.
4. Where you'd first vacation to?
Idk. Probably somewhere up north so i can see mountains again. We'd probably vacation in the winter so DD can see snow.

Honestly Probably not.

My husband. Then I'd call a lawyer/financial advisor.

We would stay where we are. Renovate everything exactly how we want it. Probably build a larger garage.

Somewhere warm with a waiter that will bring me umbrella drinks on a private beach.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the area Children's Research Hospital, the local Cancer Collaborative, UW Brain Trauma Research - all would get sizable donations, since all of them have helped siblings in a direct and amazing way.
1. Very FIRST thing you would do after seeing winning numbers? Call a lawyer / CPA? I think that’s what you’re supposed to do.. or something? Also, would totally quit work. I might be willing to give a one-week notice.

To elaborate on the moving/not moving, I actually think it’d be really scary to win the lotto (a huge one like this) and then potentially have people out to get you. I’m not the most private person, and play on multiple social media outlets; DH also has a large network of people he knows – I don’t think it’d be hard at all for someone to locate us. Between 2 pugs (that are known to be very well-loved) and a baby on the way, I’d say I’d be a prime target for ransom/ crime. When people say winning the lotto ruins your life, I pretty much believe it. But back to playing pretend!
4. Where you'd first vacation to? Maldives. It just looks so awesome and paradise-y.
5. Would there be any lucky charities/organizations that will be getting some hefty donations from you? Definitely animal places. And I’d like to try and start something myself and still “work” for my org.

I too am an animal lover, but like kefttsc have some issues with my local shelters, specifically their treatment and policies with bully breeds, so I would have to research some deserving Bully Breed rescue charities to give some major cash too.

2. Who would you tell, if anyone? My husband, our lawyer, CPA, and a financial adviser. I have a big mouth, so I would want to tell everyone, but I don't want people begging and suing me for money. I think after to settling our finances, I would possibly then tell family and close friends. MAYBE

Although, if we suddenly sold our house and bought a new, bigger, more amazing house, I think people would catch on that we came into some money.

Lawyer, then FA... then DH (but he has a big damn mouth), and my parents. Everyone else would find out through random acts of kindness, or via my new lifestyle.

Stay put temporarily, but I would definitely pull out the drawings for my dream home.

Europe. I'd take about a 30 day trip and hit major cities in various countries.

We'd stay put. I love our home. I'd buy a new mini van though and my parents a home close to us. We'd also probably buy a motor home and build a ski home.

Spend hours double checking because I would be in disbelief.

DH, I don't think I could handle telling others.

We'd move to a more rural location, fix up and sell both our homes.

Veteran's, breast cancer and diabetic organizations after we find out which one puts the highest donated percentage into research.
2. I think I'd collect the money first and then buy my DH something he really wants. Then surprise him. Then I'd tell my parents, siblings and we may tell his family or let them figure it out!
3. We would definitely move because this isn't our forever home. We wanted to move before I got pregnant.
4. I'd love to do a month trip to Europe and then do some tropical places after.
5. Well I think I'd help my family first: pay off my sisters college loans, give my parent's money/ plan a get away for them, give my twin money so she can stop working at her crapy job and help out my brother so his wife can be a stat at home mom.

1. Very FIRST thing you would do after seeing winning numbers? Tell my husband, figure out how to collect
2. Who would you tell, if anyone? Honestly, my family sucks, I would tell my husband and try to never tell anyone else.
3. Would you be moving from your current residence, or stay put with some super home renovations? I would move to a bigger home, buy my parents a home, and pay off/repair my MIL's home
4. Where you'd first vacation to? Ireland
5. Would there be any lucky charities/organizations that will be getting some hefty donations from you? It would take a lot to convince me of an organization that would use my whole donation strictly for what I'm donating for. I wouldn't want to fund raises or bonuses or salaries. I donate a lot to St Jude and St Baldricks. I would feel more comfortable setting up college accounts for all my nieces and nephews and help the family members that deserve it.

I would tell the hubs first, then we would probably get our immediate families together for dinner to tell them.

Since we only moved in last year we would probably stay here for a year or two while finding the perfect home in the area. Perfect home = Small house, on the water, lots of land and privacy.

Probably Thailand since I keep having dreams about it. We would bring a nanny and stay for a month.

I would allocate a big chunk to local charities that dealt with land conservation/preservation, child abuse, and animal welfare. I would also be opening up my own non-profit to provide local kids with the opportunity to get outdoors.
