That's just the candy. I also have non food goodies to hand out!
I didn't open the bags till yesterday because I knew I would eat it. No willpower!
We bought 4 huge bags (250 pcs in one and 150 in the rest I think) we get SO MANY KIDS... But we got a little more this year because we think people will be out longer since it's on a Friday. We opened a bag yesterday
0--we are trick or treating at our friends neighborhood so we won't be handing any out. But I will be making these yummy looking Halloween whoopie pie-like cookies to take with us to our friend's house, to eat after trick or treating and dinner--yum!
Another vote for buying after. My sisters birthday is Halloween so we always go to her house or my moms to celebrate, and I'm pretty sure no one trick or treats in our neighborhood anyway.

I voted for more than 5. I have (6) bags for trick or treaters, plus I have purchased and consumed (2) bags of kraft caramels and (1.5) bags of brachs candy corn this month.
Fun fact: I lost a candy corn down my cleavage while stitching a snap onto DS2's costume tonight. That would never happen if I weren't nursing still.
We live in a pretty hot spot neighborhood for Trick or Treaters so I bought 4 huge, jumbo bags. I haven't opened any yet so yay for me!! I'm honestly not a huge candy person so it doesn't tempt me too much. Candy is so expensive!!
We bought two bags of candy. We put a bucket out even when we aren't home..... I am sure the first kid takes all of the candy.... early bird gets the worm, right?
Looks like I'm the only one with a hatred for Halloween we'll probably be home but we live on a dead end street so not many people come thru. I won't be buying any candy and I haven't eaten any either.
I'm sure I'll get more in the spirit when Haddy is old enough to really understand. I wouldn't want him to miss out.
We get a ton of trick or treaters, I bought 7 bags last week, and yes we have been eating some. DD is allowed one piece after dinner if she eats her vegetables, and Mommy might have had a few pieces too. Ian has tried a kitkat.
If we take DS we will be with our neighborhood playgroup, mainly as a social activity for us. Once we get home from that it will be bath/bedtime, so our lights will be out. Our dog will go nuts and DS will never sleep if we kept the lights on and had kiddos knocking on the door.

Not sure if A will be T oT-ing or not. He is a sick sad little guy. I don't want to be at the pedi on Halloween.

I bought 5 more bags last night.
So... 9 bags of candy. For about 10 trick or treaters.
