I am 17 weeks today and while I have read all of these posts, have never posted anything myself but find myself needing some calming words. This is my first baby, and unexpected! I chose to have the quad screening last week to better prepare myself and received some news that the baby has a 1 in 91 ratio of having Down's syndrome. Thinking that your baby could have a harder life is scary. We know we would love the baby just the same but of course every parent wants their baby to have the easiest and best life possible. I should have the confirmed results next week once the second blood test results come back. Until then, we wait and pray for guidance. Has anyone else had a similar experience??
On another note, when did everyone start to feel the baby move? I can't wait for that miracle!
Re: Never posted before
I'm 17 1/2 weeks now and have been feeling movements for a while, twitches at first but now they are stronger. Having a posterior placenta helps.
With dd I felt her at 22 weeks. I've been feeling this one over a week or so. I am almost 17 weeks.
