Symptoms: lots of contractions. they get pretty painful if i'm up and active, but calm down when i rest. lightening crotch. increased pressure 'down there'.
AW/Appointments: i have an appointment today. i'm hoping she checks to see if i'm dilated because at the hospital on friday i wasn't at all. but these contractions have been consistent for 5 days now! i'm so anxious to know when it will happen.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world and have a great job there, where would you choose? i've always wanted to live somewhere with 4 seasons. but my family is all in california and i don't want to be too far from them. so maybe some cute town in southern oregon...
our family consists of myself, my wonderful husband and my 3 sweet step-kiddos.
EDD/Weeks:11/18/ - 37 weeks! Symptoms:Contractions/period-like cramping, discharge like whoa, hip pain, constant need to pee, lots of pressure down low which is definitely making me waddle because I feel like LO is going to fall out any second. AW/Appointments:Had an impromptu appointment yesterday due to contractions and feeling less movement. All is great though. I'm still not dilated but my cervix has thinned out and dr said she doesn't think I'll make it to my induction date. Have another appointment tomorrow for another NST, internal, and a growth sono since they wouldn't just do it yesterday. GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world and have a great job there, where would you choose? I've always wanted to visit Australia and Ireland but I never have so I don't know for sure I'd want to live in either place. My number one place that I'd want to live in the US is Nashville, TN for sure. Not that I've ever been there either but I love country music and cowboys so I think it would be a perfect fit for me )
Symptoms:movement, BH?, sleeplessness, peeing all the time. mostly what everyone else has said! AW/Appointments:weekly appt is this Thurs. As of last week was still only about 1cm dilated. Doctor said he felt baby's head which is crazy! Got our car seat inspected this past Saturday and I'm going to meet a pediatrician group tonight-hopefully I like them since I listed them as LO's pediatrician on the hospital form already haha. GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world and have a great job there, where would you choose? Florida without a doubt. I feel like everyone says that, but I truly mean it. Or at least, a Florida home so I could be a snowbird (in my ripe ol' 30s lol). I like Pittsburgh where I currently live bc family is here, but man do I HATE January-May here.
EDD/Weeks: 11-11, 38 wks... but Little Miss came 9 days ago (!!!)
Symptoms: equally exhausted and elated. Oh, and still pretty sore.
AW/Appointments: 2 wk appt with the pediatrician on Monday.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world and have a great job there, where would you choose? Everywhere! While wee ones, my sister and I had always talked about starting a magazine (or working for one if it existed) for which we'd travel the globe and immerse ourselves in random cultures for several months. I'd take most of the pictures and she'd write most of the articles. We'd cover wildlife, science & medicine, arts & culture, recreation, and (of course) FOOD. Imaginative little buggers we were! While that would still be awesome in theory (picturing migrant families here), we've become rather cozy nestled in the hills of our home state.
eta: formatting ... ... and Q: do I have to move to Sun ticker now??
Symptoms: Sore, lots of Braxton Hicks, having a hard time sleeping, and I could eat for ever most days. Lots of pressure down there as little girls head is right on my cervix and has been for many weeks. Someone asked if she had dropped recently, my reply "she was never up."
AW/Appointments: Have an ultrasound on Friday again but this week will be a growth one. Kind of excited to see "about" how big little girl is.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world and have a great job there, where would you choose? I'd have to go with somewhere in Europe. I've lived there before and loved it. Part of me says I'd go back to Macedonia and another part of my says some where my ancestors came from: England, Ireland, Norway, Netherlands, Germany.
Symptoms: Pain in my hands & wrists, back, hips/pelvis, still heartburn and just really tired.
AW/Appointments: I had an appt this morning an have made zero progress. Baby has been "engaged" for weeks but I have never had a single BH or contraction, not dilating at all, cervix is high, and no change week to week. It's frustrating, I don't need LO to come early/right now, I just want to know that things are moving in the right direction and it doesn't seem like they are yet. I'd really like to avoid an induction if possible. Sorry for the whining.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world and have a great job there, where would you choose? In the states probably California, except my whole family is on the east coast. Outside of the states, somewhere in Europe, maybe France. Love reading everyone's answers to this, good question!
TTC since Sept 2011, Unexplained IF Oct 12 - Jan 14: 3 clomid/TI cycles, 2 hysteroscopies, 2 IUIs, 1 BFP (MMC @ 12w), 2 more IUIs Feb 14: Gonal-f + IUI #5 = BFP! (EDD 11/4/14) Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!
EDD/Weeks: 11/11- 38 weeks but being induced next tueaday the 4th!
Symptoms: constant contractions, crampy feelings. Unbelievable heart burn, pelvic pain that doesn't stop (SPD) just overall miserable lol
AW/Appointments: I have apt tomorrow. Dr mentioned doing a sweep tomorrow in hopes it will get me out of the prodromal labor.. And maybe get things going prior to induction!
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world and have a great job there, where would you choose? I love where I'm at
@rox825 i'm right there with you! although i have had lots of consistent contractions. but i just got back from the dr and i still have no dilation and my cervix is high. she was going to do a sweep but ended up not because my cervix was still tilted up enough that it was pretty painful for me. i just wish i saw some more progress!
our family consists of myself, my wonderful husband and my 3 sweet step-kiddos.
@akatiegrl my midwife offered to do a sweep today or next week too but stubborn cervix needs to cooperate! It's so frustrating. I started trying OWTs last week and so far nothing. Hope we both make some progress soon!

Symptoms: Braxton Hicks, So much swelling, abdominal pressure. It's getting so hard to move!
AW/Appointments: Having weekly appts now. Today was a sono. Baby is measuring about a week ahead and is estimated at 7lbs and 7oz, Lord help me!!! I'm nervous that this is going to be a huge baby. Dr. wants to consider inducing a few days before due date if I haven't gone in to labor yet so that the baby won't be too large. She doesn't want to induce too soon and risk a c-section. But then she examined me and said I was 1cm dialated! So there's hope that things will progress before an induction is needed.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world and have a great job there, where would you choose? London, I love everything British! I'd like to have a place in London and a country cottage in Cornwall. I'd be close to Mainland Europe and hopefully get to travel there all the time. One can dream

Nope! You belong here! Your baby's gestational age is still a Tuesday baby.

Symptoms: same old stuff
Updates: it's my last week of work and I'm so excited about that! I have lots todo before the baby arrives.
Gtky: definitely New Zealand. Not Auckland- somewhere on the South Island. That country is where I belong for sure.
Symptoms: equally exhausted and elated. Oh, and still pretty sore.
