I also posted this on TTTCAS...
It wasn't nearly as bad as I had it built up in my mind. The 10-15 seconds where my RE pushed the water through cramped badly, but other than that it wasn't to bad. I'm cramping now that I'm home, but hopefully that will ease up in the next few hours.
Everything looked great and my tubes were clear! My follicle was mature, 18 ml, so my RE thinks I will ovulate Friday or Saturday at the latest. She wants us to start trying tomorrow. If we don't get pregnant this cycle then next cycle we move on to clomid and IUI.
My thyroid came back normal which is great because it was a retest after getting a much higher result from my OB's office last month. We are waiting on my 'ovary reserve' results to get in still and my FSH (I think that's the acronym she used) hormone was high. They like to see under 10, and I was at 9.3. Nothing above normal but borderline.
I forgot to ask her, but when you do IUI, does DH give a sample right then and then they do the insemination, or does he get a sample at home and bring it in? I just now thought of this and don't know! Thanks ladies!
