Goodbye lovely ladies - late term loss

It's almost impossible to believe that I'm writing this post. Two weeks ago we went in for our follow up anatomy scan. At 22 weeks we had lost our baby girl, her brain had not developed correctly and I delivered her the next day. We named her Journey, and I was lucky enough to get to spend some time with her to say goodbye. We had a beautiful service for her, and now she's in a beautiful resting place. After six years of ttc and fertility treatments I thought our dreams had finally come true. To say I'm destroyed would be an understatement. I just wanted to say good bye to all you lovely ladies, thank you for being awesome and hilarious. I wish you all the best with your pregnancies, and your lovely babies.

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm glad you got to spend some time with your daughter. You might want to check out the loss board if you haven't yet. It is for late term loss, stillbirth, infant, and child loss. My son was stillborn in February and that board has helped me a lot. Everyone there will understand what you are going through.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your daughter, Journey. There are no words we can offer that will make the pain any less, but please know you are not alone. I also suggest checking out the Loss Board. There are many wonderful women there who unfortunately have gone through similar losses (it has been almost 2 years since my daughter was stillborn). It is such an awful situation. Big ((hugs)) to you and your family. Be gentle with yourself.
