My check out day at work will be Friday, so am going from FT working girl of 30 years (almost) to SAHM (soon).

I am 42, FTM due with twins in January and always thought I would stay at home to raise babies when the time came. My DH will be 50 next bday and is jumping back in the pool with both feet now that his youngest is starting college ;-)

His last wife SAHM, so he's comfortable with it. I thught my job was too good to leave, so thankfully my horrible supervisor made the choice for me :-)

Anyway, I am hoping to find some support, connection, advice and laughs here. And am really glad to be able to join you all :-)

I have such hopes of learning to be eco crafty like my friends who stay home... learn to sew and can and such. But at 42, bit of a late start.

Hope you'll have me, I'll get to lurking for a bit now... :-)
