AW: feeling blue about a friend moving.

i know my hormones are making this worse, but my friend left yesterday to move back home to Pennsylvania. (I live in Colorado) she was the only really close friend I had here. I have a few others but they were more like oh the whole group is doing this so we all hang out. My friend who left was the only one i ever had one on one time with. I am originally from TX and all our family and my closest friends are there. Anyway my friend moving back to PA just has me feeling sad. I am not outgoing and have a hard time meeting new people (I am a house wife) and i dunno I just feel lonely I guess. I know for my friends situation moving home is the absolute best thing for her and her life right now but I miss her so much and her sweet kids that I babysat often. I don't know what I am really wanting out of this post. Just feeling down and wanted to sa something somewhere. On the brighter side hubby and i are doing our yearly portraits on wednesday, and this coming weekend gonna do a baby registry... And a few other fun things he has planned to distract me. Lol. 17 weeks now... i can't believe that. I will stop the rambling here.

    Sorry you won't have your good friend near you, have you used Skype (or something similar)? It's definitely not the same, but perhaps can help some! Will look forward to hearing about the family photos and fun weekend plans! Hope the weekend comes quick for you!

    I am sorry that your friend is moving, I agree with pp on the Skype or messaging. I know it isn't the same as an in person hang out but it could be nice for sharing the milestones. My little sister is away at college and we Skype every Sunday to catch up. She is the only one in my family who has moved away and we are very close. I plan to Skype her when LO is born. Yay for the registry! Also congrats on 17 weeks! Almost half baked lol

    @Megdowntheshore‌ we went and spent 4 hours looking at stuff at babies r us a few weekends ago, wrote dow. Our favorites, and hubby did a LOT of research and review reading. Lol

    I facetime my parents every week day at lunchtime. So I am no stranger to the video chat but it just is not the same. Better than nothing though. I hate living so far from home.
