Surprise at home birth w happy ending!

Dixie Rose was born October 27th
Weighing 6.5 pounds at 6:45am
Healthy baby girl!
I was 39 weeks
I got up to pee around 5am. At 5:30 (sorry for tmi) but I had to go to the restroom. After having to poop 3 times the pressure turned into somewhat timetable contractions.
At this point they were coming on about 5 -7 minutes apart but were quickly getting stronger and more difficult to time. After calling the hospital they said they would call me back in 30 minutes.
I called DH to come home from work and he said he'd get home as fast as he could. My MIL who lives right next door (literally) came over to help me watch my 18 month old son who was still sleeping.
20 minutes went by since my last call w the drs office so I called again when contractions became unbearable. The dr stated that from the sound of things I should come in right away. My husband still wasn't home and it takes us 30 min to get to the hospital. She recommended calling an ambulance but at this point I thought I could wait.
As soon as the call was finished I felt overwhelming pressure and the urge to vomit. After running to the toilet I felt my water break in the toilet then an overwhelming urge to push. Reaching down I realized I could feel the head! Yelling out to my MIL I told her frantically to call an ambulance and my husband.
She did and within 15 minutes she helped me to the couch and my little girl was born! My MIL was crying hysterically saying it was a miracle. 20 minutes later the ambulance and DH arrived to take us to the hospital.
Labor only lasted an hour (I was 4cm last Thursday) and I had a completely natural and unexpected home birth. It truly is a miracle because I was scheduled to be induced Thursday due to her being in the oblique breech position.
I am so happy she is healthy and we already love her so much!
