I work in and out of the house.
I work FT with a home office but travel within the SE US at least once per week. I have been working to finish my doctorate degree since 2005. With a few stops along the way I will be done in 2016.

I don't want to be a SAHM. I love working and think it is the right choice for me. We also couldn't swing the lifestyle I prefer living on one income.

I am a registered dietitian, certified nutrition support clinician and certified in LEAN six sigma as a green belt. I also had a certification in lactation counseling which recently lasped.
I work as a regional clinical expert for a pharmaceutical company. I love the idea of my job but some days it is so incredibly taxing and stressful that I just wanna go backwards and do something different.
Not sure what though.
I need to stop going to school though after this degree. It is rediculous with one kid and travel.

Honestly I would go crazy as a SAHM.

I am a K-3 special Ed teacher and I love what I do. It's exhausting some days but great!

1) I work outside the home full time.

2) I feel really lucky to have the job I do...so as much as I wish I was home more, I feel lucky to be able to provide for my family in such a cool position!

3) I think we know what I do at this point lol - and all wish I'd knock on your door!!!! I hate traveling sometimes, but do love it once I'm at the winners door. And when I'm not traveling and filming it's a 9-5 marketing position - so it's a nice mix.

Edit - I forgot how NOT fun it is being pregnant during filming videos. The "what's Danielle going to hide behind" conversations are uncomfortable. Good thing those big checks are big!

I love seeing what everyone does!

Work full time. Ex-central banker and new university faculty. Really loving my new role so far. Love all the work from home time and working on my own time, also absolutely love the academic culture.

Always wanted to SAH until I had a baby. :-)

Hi everyone! I haven't been active in a while but instead of starting a new thread saying it, I figure I will just jump right in!

1) Do you work outside of the home or are you a stay-at-home mommy? Full time worker bee

2) If you stay home, do you wish you worked and if you worked, do you wish you could stay home? I love teaching because it is the best of both worlds. It is the end of the first quarter right now, so I keep thinking that I am 25% of the way there until I can be a SAHM for the summer!!!

3) What is your line of business...what do you do? Do you enjoy it or painfully dread it or somewhere in between? I teach math to 7th,11th, and 12th graders. I love teaching, but I struggle with the amount of paperwork and professional development activities we are required to do. I feel like I am working and in school full time, just about all of the time. When I was actually getting my master's last year, I had way more free time!!!

i work PT. i'm a visiting nurse and i love my job. i work PT and have a lot of flexibility to switch my days/flex my hours and once my visits are done i can finish the rest of my work from home. i suck at SAHM full time but also think it would be very hard for me to manage life working FT so i feel pretty lucky. i also have a BS in business/Spanish but have never used the business degree (i was a dual major) but use my Spanish regularly in the communities i visit.

I'm a book keeper at a trucking company. I only went back part time so I only work three days a week. It is the perfect mix of work and stay at home for our family

This Thursday we're kicking off a best friend's wedding weekend but it would be great to meet next time you're around... or meet again perhaps

I am a full time student right now and work 1 day a week in the ER. I was going to school to be a veterinarian but recently changed my goal to sustainable farming education.

I could not be a stay at home mom and really admire u ladies who are. I do wish I was around a little more though.

Im a special snowflake for this one. I work with my dad part time at our family business. I get to take Alexa with me, so I'm with her all the time. (It also means I get 2 hours worth of work done in 4 hours.)

I always wanted to be a SAHM, and I do enjoy all my time with DD. I am working partly to bring in some extra cash and partly to help my dad out, so I don't think I'd change anything right now.

We sell custom imprinted promotional tools to hardware centers. I have a B.S. in Business Administration. I've worked with my dad since high school and have done a little of everything at my job. I don't dread it. Alexa gets to see her grandpa every day and they both love it. She's the cutest distraction ever...

1. I work outside the home.

2. I would prefer to work outside the home but slightly fewer hours.

3. I am a history professor. I research and write scholarly works about the past, teach undergraduate and graduate students, mentor and advise students, grade and read a ton of student writing, and answer 100s of e-mails a day. I like most parts of my job a great deal, but struggle with students who text, colleagues that slack, and bureaucratic minutiae.

1) I work 2, 12 hour shifts per week

2) 2 days a week is pretty great. We would be in a bit of a financial pickle if I SAH. In a perfect world, I would SAH and H would make a lot more $$

3) Im a RN. I directly recover immediate post op cardiac surgical patients. It's very specialized which has me a bit pigeon-holed. But I love it!

I work outside the home.

I work full time hours, but would prefer 3 days a week.

I am a nursing intake coordinator for community care.....a lot of it is seniors care and how to keep people living safely at home, the other main portion is support for palliative clients......I love what I do, but less hours would be nice!!
