DD starts crying immediately when she sees me use my hair dryer. Tears and everything, it's the weirdest thing. Thunderstorms don't faze her but my hair dryer scares the poop out of her. Anything your LO freaks out about?
My LO is not a big fan of the hair dryer either. She makes a face when the vacuum comes on too, but doesn't cry. Crinkling aluminum foil and plastic bags are the current freak-out triggers.
My LO cries with the hairdryer, too, as well as the blender. Crinkling bags are the most fun attractive thing right now. She loves to pick up an unopened bag of chips because yay! Crinkles!
It seems like ever since DS hit 4 months he has been getting spooked more. I used to be able to vacuum without it phasing him, now he freaks out and starts crying. He's also started crying when my husband sneezes lol
Yep! I used to be able to vacuum around her too and then the other day she freaked out and started the water works.
So far so good with loud noises, but he did witness me getting my teeth cleaned and freaked out! The receptionist, who is a stranger to him held him the rest of the appointment and he was fine.

My now-ten-year-old had the strangest irrational fear of inflatable things. Floaties, bounce houses, etc. He would shake and cry. Only thing he ever freaked about.
The elephant noise on one of her books and when the doorbell rings and the dog barks. Took me 10 minutes to calm her down last time. She was so scared she pooped. Poor girl!
@usernameedit we have a Sesame Street toy and I thought out if all of them Elmo would be her favorite. She's not really a fan either but she LOVES oscar the grouch. I think it fits her lol. Anytime we play that one she smiled and tries to grab him.
