Ticker Not Working

Why can't I get my ticker to work as my signature? I consider myself relatively saavy when it comes to these kinds of things but all that is appearing in my message is the actual code for the ticker and not the image. Anyone else have this issue? How did you fix it? Please help me. This is annoying. :)

    This took me forever to figure out so thank you! But, do I have to do this every time I post? Why doesn't it just magically stay as my signature (even though I saved it in my signature on my account).
