Intro- Surprise O14 Baby!

Hello ladies! I'm a regular team greener over on the D14 board (due 12/12) but my LO decided that HE would like to graduate early and came into the world on 10/21 at just over 32 weeks. So I'd love to keep tabs on this board too since we're going through the same stages now. I had a perfectly healthy and uneventful pregnancy and then, out of nowhere, my water broke! The docs stopped contractions for awhile and I was transferred to a better equipped hospital. They were determined to keep us until 34 weeks. Then, around 5:00pm on the 21st (I went to the hospital around 11:30pm the night before) I noticed they had a regular pattern to them, every 6 mins. I was hooked back up to a fetal monitor where they confirmed that I wasn't crazy and they decided to send me back to L&D to be monitored at 6:30pm even though I was still just 1cm. AS SOON as I got to L&D, the contractions increased dramatically in intensity and started coming every 1-2 mins. In under an hour I went from 1 to 10cm and my son, Isaac, was born at 7:38pm. The hospital I was transferred to earlier that day was about an hour from my house where DH was, so he almost missed it! He arrived just in time for the last couple pushes. Baby is in NICU now and will be for another 3-4 weeks, but he looks great!
